It was 6 AM. Past the objects' waking time, but Hosty didn't care right now.
The dark swingset creaked as the sun struggled its way over the horizon. The sun's rough journey reminded it of—
BANG!
It jumped, scared, and looked wide eyed at the dusty toolbox that fell over. It had been fixing the swingset that Barrel's fatass broke, doing so since 3 AM. There was also a roll of paper towels that began flying fast in the wind. It used that to clean the spilled cup of blue popsicle juice that was spilled while it fixing the swing.
It jumped up, almost falling "MY FUHECKING TOWELELS—"
It began sprinting towards the flying paper towels, looking like an idiot. The blanket it wore swayed in the wind but it made sure the blanket never, ever fell off.
"Oof!" It fell on it's face, getting dirt and mud on the blue blanket. It got up, stumbling around in dizziness, and continued chasing the towels for what felt like hours.
Until, both it and the towels banged into something.
It gasped, hugging the paper towels close and glancing up. A tall, metal fence towered over it. Wha...?
Guess that was what was at the edge. It lied down, panting.
"Hey!" A voice called, walking over. It was the co-host. It halted, looking surprised at the sight. "Uh... what are you...?"
"Don't ask." It got up and wiped the dirt from the blue blanket. "Why are you all the way here?"
"I could ask the same," it giggled. "Anyways, have you seen the wind today? Almost blew, uh... my face away!"
It held the paper towels and began to walk. "Yeah," it said bluntly. The co-host caught up.
"Hey, uh..." it moved closer. "Remember... yesterday?"
"What?" It asked, hiding the growing fear.
The co-host stopped. "Th—The book you were reading..." it fiddled its fingers. "I-I... I just..." it sighed. "L—"
A yell interuppted it.
"You're LAZY ASS made our team lose, Catface," Vortex scolded. The purple and black entity floated around with anger. "Our team! Our faction of uniquees... LOST!"
Catface sipped his coffee. "Suck it up, buttercup." He paused. "Could you get me some new coffee? This one has way too much cream, I like black coff—"
"Guys, shut it. We need to get to the elimination soon. And why are you awake? I never set off the alarm."
"This jackass needed a lecture, mind you." Vortex huffed and floated off.
Catface rolled his eyes and went the other direction.
"Oookay then! Well, I just need to clean up my tools, they blew over." And with that it was gone, leaving the co-host by itself.
The co-host blinked, wiping away a tear with its blanket. Did it completely forget what I was trying to say? I guess so.
