"Who will win the first place for the final week of May?" Kim Mingyu of Seventeen, an addition to Inkigayo's flawless new host lineup, queried through a microphone while holding up a results card.

A sea of fans squealed and soon the venue was filled with cheers of favourite Kpop group names. The BTS members smiled upon hearing their names being yelled from different directions, ARMYs screaming 'BTS!' at the top of their lungs in hopes that they would be called by the hosts as the winners.

And sure enough, they were.

"BTS, 'Fake Love!'"

Sparkly confetti showered down on cue with the announcement and the crowd's wild cheering. Mingyu and BTS exchanged bows before the glass trophy was handed over to the members, followed by a warm "Congratulations!" from hosts Jung Chaeyeon and Song Kang.

Namjoon started by thanking ARMY, a step BTS members made sure to take with every win. 'Thank you so much ARMY' rang through the boys' heads as they stood on stage claiming the award for their song's third win.

Yoongi reached for the microphone and positioned it below his chin. "To get first place upon our week of making our comeback, we're really so thankful. We will work hard for the remaining promotions as well, thank you everyone!"

Crowds of ARMYs from the audience shrieked and whistled in response, proud of their boys and proud of the fan base. The hosts congratulated BTS once more then delivered their closing scripts, "Pretty-gayo, cool-gayo, hot-gayo, live broadcast—SBS Inkigayo!"

BTS remained on stage to sing an encore of their winning song while other beloved Kpop groups made their exit off the stage.

"Congrats guys!" Namjoon cheered, followed by the members' squeals of woo-hoos and yeahs. The boys were currently huddled up in a tight circle locked with their arms on each other's shoulders, jumping and moving clockwise while Hoseok was holding their Inkigayo trophy up in the air.

After a couple of rounds, they broke off the chain almost synonymously and slumped down on couches and foldable chairs closest to them. Jimin panted, "I personally think that we did a pretty good job on Airplane pt. 2 this time."

Hoseok nodded enthusiastically while gently passing the award to a staff member, "Me too! I wanna watch it. You think they already posted it on YouTube?"

"Probably? Let me check," Taehyung was already unlocking his phone, also excited about watching how great their performance was this time. He tapped on his YouTube application and searched for their 2018 Inkigayo Airplane pt. 2 performance. Jin leaned to the right where Taehyung was seated and queried, "Is it there?" "Yep!" Taehyung tapped on the video with a thumbnail of Jungkook smirking sexily.

Oh.

For a split second there he swore that he felt the same jumpy feeling fans felt when they witnessed Jungkook lift his shirt up during their performance at Billboards.

He shook his head. "I-I'll send it to you guys through KakaoTalk."

Hoseok grinned, "Kay!"

Taehyung tapped on the share button and then on their KakaoTalk group chat. "Sent! Did you guys get it?" He looked around and peered at the boys' phone screens. Hoseok's grin faded, "Nope. WiFi's pretty shitty here. Could you send it again?"

Taehyung quickly tapped away on his phone and searched for the video again, except this time going for his YouTube history and selecting the video with sexy Jungkook on the thumbnail again.

He perked up from his phone and looked around.

Bzzzzzt.

Hoseok beamed, "Got it!" but not for long until his contagious smile faded again. "Wait what?"

Jimin choked on skittles. He coughed awkwardly and leaned to his left, sharing his phone screen with Taehyung.

Taehyung's eyes widened twice its size. He peered back at his own phone and screamed internally at the video he had just sent to the BTS members.

He was blushing like crazy. Slowly, without completely lifting his head, he peeked at the boys' reactions other than the two seated beside him. Namjoon and Hoseok were gaping at him confusedly, Yoongi went on to watch the video expressionless (Though Taehyung swore he could see the older boy holding back a smirk), and most importantly—

Jeon Jungkook.

Taehyung immediately averted his gaze to the floor the moment his eyes landed on Jungkook. He really didn't want to see Jungkook's reaction right now. The guy was probably laughing. Either that or he was disappointed, ashamed, and all the other synonyms for upset.

He cleared his throat and lifted his head until his eyes were locked on Jungkook's.

Jungkook was red.

He blinked at Taehyung through his dark fringe that was damp with sweat. He looked confused and embarrassed. Sure enough though, he was blushing just as hard as Taehyung and that made Taehyung feel a little better.

Just a little.

Yoongi snickered. "Taehyung's only got eyes for Jungkook huh?"
