(A/N: I was making this a very depressed write, but decided to lighten it some... be happy. Sorry I haven't updated, I've been out of the house or being attacked by my little siblings... I MIGHT get an update tomorrow, but I am going to a work place to help- volunteer- because I'm not old enough to have a job -•- Warning: Anxiety & Fears?)
>>Readers' POV<<
It was, I guess, a special day for most. It was the forth of July, the, as Connor would say, day of signing of the papers for the USA. I never really did much, I usually stayed inside, maybe watch the fireworks out my bed room window. Hank would have told me to walk into the patio and watch, but I never did, I didn't even want to go outside. To be honest, I didn't like fire works. They were too loud, and they don't have much of a use, past, well... nothing. I stood at the bed room window, I had pulled the curtains back to see and I slid the doors open and stood over the railing. I left my phone on the night stand, being able to walk away from them with the wire-less headphones. I watched the sky light up with purple, blue, green, orange, yellow, and red fire works. (A/N: Haha, annoy anyone? Did to me!)
I felt my cat rub against my leg, I bent down and picked him up. (A/N: Sorry if ur allergic- u can have a dog if ya want.) "Hey there, you chubby belly." I rubbed the side of his ear, and turned and walked back into the house. I slid the doors closed and let my head phones drop, still able to hear the music from the speakers. I heard a soft knock at the door as it slowly creaked open, "(Y/N)," a familiar voice asked. "Connor? Why are you- How'd you know I was home?" I let my cat go and stood up to hug him, "A lucky guess, I guess?" I smiled, and his light blinked yellow, what's he doing? Or is he nervous again? I let go, walked back to sit on the bed, I shifted my head to try and get a long strand of hair out of my face. (A/N: If u have short hair, u can ignore that or just go with it, up to y'all) "Why aren't you with Hank, or watching the fire works, it's a holiday, you know?" I shook my head, "It is, I guess. And because- I have my own reasons."
He looked at me with his eye Browns narrowed, his light blinked as he tried to scan me. He sat down next to me, looking at the pulled-back curtains. "So you were watching them? Why don't you go the central?" I cut him off quickly, putting my hand to his mouth before he continued, "I said I have my reasons, and I'm not going to central- who do you think I am?" "Uh- You're (Y/N) (L/N), did I upset you? I apologize for anything." I shook my head, sighing. "You are to smart for your own good. You're so stupid at times." He looked at me, tilting his head at me, his LED spun a clean sky blue. "Connor, what I meant is that I.. I wouldn't go out. I'm fine staying here, that's all. You didn't do anything." He lifted his head up right, looking at me, "Why is that?"
I stared at him for a bit, he cocked his head again, giving me a small questioning look. "Connor, I thought you- How do you not know what I have?!" I sighed, and he seemed slightly taken back. (A/N: Gotta do memes. Hold on lol) " You didn't see my data base? It should be there- know what- what ever. I, (Y/N), have anxiety!" He looked at me as a fire work lit up the room. "You do? Oh, I... apologize for my.... error."
I turned to look at him, sticking a hand to ruffle his hair, " You're so dumb sometimes, you know that, Connor? Jesus. " My words were muffled with chuckles and laughing. He looked at me, and he looked up at his now messy and curly hair. Never knew it was curly. "C'mon, let's watch the last of the fire works." I stood up and dragged him by his hand to the deck outside the room. (A/N: Like the hotels, ya'know?) I could see out of the corner of my eyes, that he was staring at me, and his halo was a deep orange. I looked out at the light sky, trees lined the yard in front of us, but the fire works lit up above them and in the sky with the stars. Guess I'm lucky to even have trees here.I felt Connor move closer to me, and his hand slowly felt their way to my waist as he then resumed looking at the sky. A group of fire works sizzled and popped in the sky, then another group hissed and boomed. They withered off as the air became silent past the bugs. The fire works left marks in the sky, and I followed them, watching the smoke slowly fall. I sniffed it, hoping I could smell the fire works- which I couldn't.
Connor's hands tightened around my waist as he bent over towards me, he planted a kiss to my cheek, his LED still glowed yellow.
Maybe... just maybe....(A/N: SoooOoooOo?! I don't know what that last line was! I just knew I had to finish this fanfic because it's currently 12:40 PM. Yep.
Anyways, please request things, write back, comment?
