[a/n: I called this 'cold' at first, but changed it]
I ruffled the covers more, pulling them even more over myself. Ralph noticed my discomfort from the cold temperature and moved closer to me, cuddling against me. The wind howled and whipped against the windows loudly. Snow fell outside. I shivered under the covers, and I pushed myself closer to Ralph for warmth. He placed his head on my shoulder and his arm over my side. He pulled his coat sides over me, and wrapped the blanket closer to us.
I closed my eyes when the wind went quiet, and the snow was only heard as it fell to the ground. I let out a soft breath, "thank you, Ralph." I felt him smile against my shoulder, and his hand linked to mine. "Ralph loves (y/n). He just wants (y/n) to be warm," he said quietly. The sun slowly showed behind the buildings of the city, the light shined into the room. I felt Ralph snake his other hand under my waist and link with my hand and pull me closer.
I smiled with my eyes shut from the sun. The morning dew glistened on the grass, and the snow falling drifted to the ground slowly like a feather. The house groaned as it warmed up in the sun and the fog drifted away, the snow melting into water some. I shifted with wind, and I pried away from Ralph's grip. I opened the curtain in the room, letting the light flood in.
I opened window slightly, letting the freezing breeze in with the bird songs. I opened the door and pulled the Ralph's coat closer to my body. I took in a slow breath, the smell of the old wood house and flowers and plants. The roof of the room creaked, and the stairs grumbled as Ralph trotted down them. He walked past me to the kitchen, I moved some cups from the table in the room before following him to the kitchen. The room glowed with the new colours, and a small coffee table and two chairs in the side of it. The fridge was flung open by Ralph and he pulled out some food and placed it on the counter beside the fridge.
Our mornings started out quiet, past maybe grumbles of 'morn.' I tugged the small curtains open in the kitchen, and turned to see Ralph struggling to get a bowl from the top of the shelf. I smiled and walk over to him, I just crawled onto the counter and grabbed it. "I guess Garden Androids' aren't made from tall objects, surprising because there's hanging plants and trees." I gave him a smile, shrugging my shoulders. I threw the bowl at him and walked to the table near the fire place. I shifted some flower-detailed appliances around the table, the light from the sun and snow reflection flowing into the house through the fence. I bent down near the fire place and threw a match into it to light the wood.
Ralph wondered into the same room, and he placed his hands around my waist again. He lifted his head to lay on my shoulder, "Hey Ralph? You wanna go outside today? Go for a walk and shop?" I shifted to see his face, and I fully turned and laid my hands around his waist aswell. He smiled and nodded, "Ralph would like that.""But Strangely,
he feels at Home
in this Place"
