Chapter 3

Gale's P.O.V

The boys and I really hit it off. I never laughed so hard in my whole life.

"Crazy girl don't you know that I love you I wouldn't dream of going no where," my phone sang.

I quickly answered," Erm, hello?"

"Gale, what time do you want me to pick you up? Dad is getting suspicious," My brother's voice said through the phone.

"Um let me ask," I looked up at the guys and asked," What time will we be done?"

"Well we were hoping we could take you back to our flat,"Harry winked.

"I can give you a ride home," Liam quickly said.

I looked at him and he blushed. I never imagined Liam this shy.

"I have a ride, Jason. I'll see you later. Alright, love you too. Bye."

I hung up the phone only to meet five boys staring at me.

"What," I asked suddenly feeling my cheeks go red.

"Who was that," Niall asked breaking the silence.

"My big brother?"

I then heard the boys strart laughing.

"For a second there I thought it was your boyfriend," Zayn chuckled.

I laughed along and saw Liam staring at me again. What is with him? Maybe I have something in my teeth? Or maybe he has a crush on me? No no, silly girl. You don't matter to anyone, remember?

"Well lets head to the flat," Louis said while jumping out of his seat.

We all got up and followed him into a black van. Once we were all inside Louis took my cellphone out of my hands.

"What are you doing," I asked puzzled.

"Changing your ringtone! You have a country song!" He laughed.

"Well I just so happen to LOVE country."

"Too bad! Boys ready to make up a ringtone for her?"

"Yes!" They all said all too excitedly.

So now my ringtone is:

"Gale we're trapped in your phone let us out!" Harry shouts

"Vas Happenin'! It's so dark in here!" Zayn pthen says after.

"There's no food! Ahhhh Gale answer before I starve!"Niall whinned into the phone.

"LEEEYYYUUMMM get your foot off my face! Wait... NO FOOD MEANS NO CARROTS!" Louis shouts.

"NIALL STOP BITING HARRY'S TOES! LISTEN TO DADDY DIRECTION! GALE ANSWER YOUR PHONE IF YOU LOVE ME!"Liam finnally says.

Answer your phone if you love me, I smiled. I've only known the boys for a few hours, and they've made me smile more than I ever have.

"Welcome to our flat,"Louis says with an annoucer sounding voice.

I got pretty comfortable really fast at their place. It was huge, and beautiful. But it was messy, but hey with five boys living here what can you expect?

I settled down on the couch and the boys jumped on me.

"Get off!" I laughed.

"Not until you say, 'Niall is a sexy beast!'"

"Niall is a sexy beast!" I shouted.

The boys then proceeded to get off me.

"Wanna play a game," Louis asked all too creepily.

"Uh sure. What game?"

The boys looked at each other and smiled. "QUESTIONS!"

"Que- Questions?"

"Yeah this is how we'd like to get to know you," Harry said.

"Um, alright," I hesitated.

"Me first!" Louis said." What's your full name?"

"Gale Marie Montgomery."

"Do you like cats," Harry winked.

"Yeah, I have a kitten named Thor!"

"Thor?" Niall said.

"Yes, Thor. Don't judge."

"Where are you from?" Zayn asked.

"Galveston, Texas."

"Did you ride horses?" Liam asked.

"No, hun. I actually live near the water."

"Can you cook?" Niall asked.

"Yes, very well actually." Niall seemed to smile at my answer.

"DO YOU LIKE CARROTS!"Louis shouted.

"IN FACT I LOVE CARROTS!"I mimicked. Everyone laughed.

"Is your mum hot?" Harry asked.

My smile dropped. My mom...

"Gale," Liam said.

I looked into his soft brown eyes. "I just remembered I have something to do, Liam can we go?"

He nodded his head and grabbed his keys. I really don't want to break down here.

Liam's P.O.V

Gale looked hurt, I know it's because of Harry's question.

I watched Gale walk out the door.

"Wha-What did I say," Harry asked.

"Nothing Harry, she has stuff to do,"I said to calm him down.

"I will see you guys in a bit, let me take her home,"I said. They nodded, and sat back down on the couch.

I met Gale beside my car and opened the passenger side for her.

"Why did you want to leave so soon?"

"Like I said I have stuff to do," she said looking down.

I nodded and drove her home, once we got there she stared at me. I could see her eyes watering.

"Gale, what's wrong?"

"Noth- Nothing. I- I'm just tired, and I have a lot of stuff to do,"she sniffled.

"It's about your mum isn't it."

She nodded her head and looked down at her wrists.

I followed her gaze and saw the cuts on her wrists. She saw what I was looking at, and she pulled her sleeves down.

"My old cat went crazy one day and clawed me," she let out a weak laugh.

I grabbed her wrists and pushed up her sleeve. She looked at me and the tears started streaming down her face. I kissed both her cuts on that wrist. She looked at me surprised.

I guess she saw the tears building up in my eyes because she tried to wipe them away.

Then I did something I never thought I'd do.

I kissed her.

What will be Gale's reaction? Got to keep reading because the next few chapters are going to be juicy ;) I'll update tomorrow, with a lot more pages!
