Chapter 10

Liam's P.O.V

I was never the one to get nervous on stage, but I was dying when I asked for Gale.

I looked back at Jason, and he gave me a thumbs up.

"Well, Gale, if you are here. I wrote a song for you," I said into the mic. I nodded at Jason to come onto stage with his guitar. And I began to sing:

"Na na na na na na

Na na na na na na

He takes your hand I die a little

I watch your eyes and I'm in riddles

Why can't you look at me like that?

When you walk by I try to say it

But then I freeze and never do it

My tongue gets tied

The words get trapped

I hear the beat of my heart getting louder

Whenever I'm near you

But I see you with him slow dancing

Tearing me apart

Cause you don't see

I kept singing, and I saw Gale. She walked up to the stage and I saw her eyes. I kept on singing looking directly at her.

"Oh how I wish

Oh how I wish

Oh how I wish, that was me

Oh how I wish, that was me..." I finished off, and jumped off the stage now face to face with her.

She was crying and I brushed her hair off of her face. And I kissed her.

"I love you Gale, I just didn't think you felt the same way," I whispered in her ear.

"You thought wrong," she whispered back.

Harry's P.O.V

I watched Liam sing to Gale. It didn't hurt as much as I thought it would. I'm going to let Liam have her, she clearly loved him and he loved her. I smiled at the thought. This is my way of making things right. I thought I wanted her, but in reality I didn't. And I'm not going to lose one of my best mates because I was being selfish.

"Harry?"

I looked up to find Gale and Liam right beside me.

"I'm sorry, Harry. I had to tell her how I feel," Liam said looking at me.

"Liam, it's fine. Just be good to her," I said.

"I will, thank you."

I looked at Gale, and she full on embraced me.

"Thank you so much," she whispered.

"No, thank you for showing me I can't always get what I want," I whispered back. She smiled and kissed my cheek.

I looked around to see the lads staring at us in shock.

"What is wrong with you guys," Micalea asked, and every single one of them laughed.

"Just go along with it," Niall smiled.

And we all just laughed, and smiled. And I must say that night was pretty amazing.
