"Hey chipmunk," Paisley greets as the other line picks up. "What do you say we meet in Gelateria today at 3?"

Gelateria was a gelato shop a few blocks away from their school, she and Elliot would usually hang there on Saturdays.

"Paisley," he chuckles at the other end. "We were, what, twelve since you called me that."

"And sure, 3 sounds good."

"Yeah," Paisley smiles at the wave of nostalgia it gave her. "Good. See you."

She and Elliot didn't have much of a chance to talk yesterday at her party, and she had a lot to say to him.

She spent the morning watching some old American tv sitcom re-run.

Paisley didn't bother wearing makeup that day, her hair was loose, curled a bit from her bun awhile ago, and ditched her usual all black outfit.

"Did you just get a haircut?"

  "I know, I look ridiculous."

"Not at all." Elliot smirked as Paisley playfully punched his arm.

Paisley and Elliot spent the whole day like they usually did when they were younger. Like the future wasn't going to separate them miles away from each other.

"So," Paisley starts. "My mom wanted me to go live with her,"

  "In London."

"That's great!" Elliot exclaims as he turns to face her before they continued walking towards the parking lot. "We'll still be together."

"I told her I didn't want to go," Paisley continues. "Well at least not yet."

Elliot looks at her again his face painted in confusion.

"I want to stay here in Paris, finish high school, and a lot of things could change, so I guess I'll just see where the wind takes me."

Especially her dad, she wanted to see her dad change for the better.

  Elliot smiles.

"I guess my bunny's all grown up now," Elliot kids as she ruffles Paisley's hair. "Don't need me anymore, huh?"

"You're lucky my hair isn't tied up," Paisley playfully glares at him. "Or else you're dead."

Elliot suddenly pulls Paisley in a hug, although taken aback, she wraps her arms around his waist and rests her head on his chest.

Elliot smelled like freshly cut grass and musk.

As he gently strokes Paisley's dark hair, and rests his chin on her head; he whispers:

"I'm gonna miss you, bunny."
