*Jaiden's P.O.V*
We all knew that Ben was going to ask Cassie to marry him ever since the first time she walked through the door. He looked at her with such pride and it was amazing to watch my big brother fall in love and treat her like a princess. When Cassie opened her eys the tears instantly started filling her eyes. I smiled and pulled Keaton closer to me. For some reason I felt so happy just standing next to him. All my thoughts of Chris slowly drained out of my mind and I forgot all about the pictures Cassie threw over the balcony.
What happened next was what really surprised me. I walked over and pulled Ben and Cassie into a huge group hug. After Ben went to talk with the others, Cassie gave me another hug and asked me to be her maid of honor. It shocked me into silence because never in a million years would I have imagined that she'd ask me. I couldn't get my mind to form words and just nodded my head as tears built up in my eyes.
After a few more minutes of hugging, Cassie and Ben jumped off the side of the boat and swam out to the tube that Keaton and I had left floating in the water. Amber was crying about not being able to go yet so she jumped out with them after Cassie gave in. I understood why she thought it'd be a while. The boys usually make it around the lake a few times before falling. After Ben and Cassie got Amber situated in the middle seat of the tube I jumped out of the back seat pulling Keaton with me who I had forgotten had his hand in mine. He fell face first into a pile of towels and life jackets. I laughed as he pulled himself up.
"Oh you think this is funny don't you Jaiden."
I laughed some more before finally getting the word, yes, to come out of my mouth. He smiled his devilish grin and mouthed something I couldn't understand. Wesley was standing to the side of us grinning.
"Hey Wes can I drive?!" I hoped he would say yes because no one ever let me drive.
"I don't know Jaiden, you're not very good." He laughed as he went to sit down at the wheel.
I jumped up and sprung into the seat before he could get there. I stuck my tongue out like a 5 year old who had just proved their point.
"Fine, but Keaton needs to help you."
I got up out of the seat like I was ready to protest, but inside I was really happy.
"Ugh, him? That's so gross!" I laughed as Keaton walked to the seat and sat down.
I felt a pair of hands around my waist and then I was sitting in Keaton's lap.
"You know, you look really beautiful today." He whispered in my ear.
I felt a shiver run down my spine as I turned red.
"Well Keat, you don't look half bad yourself."
He smiled at me and then it felt like a million years went by and it was just the two of us. Finally Wesley broke the moment asking us to get going. He sounded upset but I just turned towards the wheel and steered while Keaton controlled the speed. We just joked around the whole time and it felt like there was nothing but the two of us.

*Wesley's P.O.V*
I watched the whole proposal go just as Ben planned. After all the hugging was done and Ben, Cassie and Amber swam out to the tube Jaiden asked to drive. I just laughed because she had never driven the boat before. She was usually behind the boat in the tube. After she ran past me and sat down in front of the wheel and stuck her tongue out at me. I just laughed and said if she wanted to drive, Keaton had to help her.
I regretted making the decision to let him help the second he pulled her into his lap. They seemed to just fit together like two pieces of a puzzle and it broke my heart.
