A broken heart

Part 2: Lunch Time

I had showed the new boy around our school, the places he needed to know, especially the lockers and the library. He was unexpectedly talkative which was annoying. I had time to show him around as i was not taking ecology class which was very boring.  Well, he didn't take the class as well so it was a perfect timing since I can make it on time for lunch break.

While walking around, he asked me many questions. If I were the top of my class and about my friends. He just wanted to know about me. I really had to be patient answering to him. He finally stopped when the bell rang and it was time for lunch. We went separate ways then.

Well, technically it was break. Stephanie, Taehyung and I went to the canteen to grab our food and enjoy our lunch break as usual.

"Yah.. the new boy, Jeon Jungkook? He's not that bad. He's handsome tho. I wish I could exchange seats with you. You are really one lucky gurl.". Stephanie was literally yelling in my ear while making our way to the table. I saw Taehyung giving her a glare and he roughly put the tray down when we got to our table.
Steph turned around and asked,
"What's wrong with you? Are you jealous?" she said it in a joking tone.
"No I am not", he replied. I noticed how annoyed he was.
While they were quarreling, a voice caught my attention.

"Can i join in here?"
When I turned around to see who it was, Jeon Jungkook stood there with his tray. I didnt say anything but nodded. He thanked and sat beside me.

"Its nice to meet you. Please help me with my lectures. I hope we will be good friends.", he continued speaking until I cut him off.
"Ok I get it. Now eat your lunch. We don't talk much while eating."
"C'mon Areum, don't say that. Calm down", Steph told me but I ignored and continued eating.
"Well he should know how we communicate during lunch. We eat quietly.", I said
But Stephanie laughed. She turned to the new guy and said, "If you think she os quiet, you are very wrong. I remember when Jimin is still here-"
I suddenly looked up at her and my eyes widened.
"Yah.. stop it", Taehyung told her.
"Why must i?? Listen Jung-"
I suddenly got up saying, "I need to go"
I coldly left them, wanting some space for myself.
"You had to say that dumbass." I heard Taehyung.

Jungkook's POV

As soon as I saw her in the classroom,

You are the cause of my Euphoria.

The girl with a cute face, curly hair, brown eyes. She's like an angel.
My heart melted.
She was very cold, but as beautiful as her name, Areum.

She showed me around the school. As I was very excited, I talked alot, wanting to know more about her but she seemed to dislike it. I still have no idea why she ignored me or why she was so cold towards me.

Then it was break, I had no friends so I decided to just go and sit with her and her friends. It's an advantage for me since I got a chance to talk with her more. A small hope that she would at least interact with me.
Stephanie wasn't that bad. She's the friendly one. But I still didn't understand why she was shocked when Steph said "Jimin."
She left.

"Yah! What did you do? You just have to say it. You know how hard we have tried to get her back here.", I heard Taehyung scolding Steph.
"Sorry.. it was an accident. I didn't mean it. I just miss the old her. It's been 2 years.", We continued eating quietly but a question came up in my mind.

"Who the hell is Jimin?"
