Part 7: Please Move On

Jungkook's POV

She just smiled at me.
That's the first time she smiled at me.
I could just see how beautiful she was.Sje made my heart flutter.

I came out of the room and decided to sleep on the couch near my room incase she needed something, I would be there.
I laid down on my couch, staring at the chandelier above me. Many thoughts drifted into my mind. Especially what happened at school.

At school,

I was leaving the school compound but then i realised that i have forgotten my laptop. The school was already empty.
Every voice echoed through the walls. I rushed to the room to get the laptop so that I could rest at home, maybe watch a few movies. I was on my way back until I saw a figure leaning against the wall. A familiar figure..

Areum

I ran there to check up on her. I was about to ask her who did this to her but she passed out. I took her back to my place and got Steph to help me.

Time skip>>

I could not sleep so i decided to check on her. I slowly opened the door and sneaked a peek. There she was, in a deep sleep. I sat on the chair nearby the bed. The lamp was still on. I stared at her for a few minutes.
She's more beautiful when she was asleep. I signed..

Why didn't you let me in?

Areum's POV

Dream

I saw him again at the same place. I ran to hug him, to feel his warmth when he hugged me. My space place..

"Baby, are you okay?", he saw the bruises.
"I am fine.. Jungkook took care of me. I never thought he would be like this."
"I am relieved now..", he signed.
"What do you mean by relieved?", I asked with a confused tone, tilting my head to the side.
"Which means, you are safe now."

What is he talking about?

"Areum.. the only reason i can't leave you is because you are all alone. I am so worried about you. What's worse? I am not there when you need my help."
He looked down.
"It is not like that oppa. You are always with me. In my heart. You are my everything."
I placed my head on his shoulders and my hands around his waist.
"I miss you. Why did you not come early? I really wanted to meet you. I have lots of things to talk with you."
He didnt say anything but suddenly, he broke the hug, held my hand and said,
"Baby.. look at me."

Our eyes met.

"You are in safe hands now. This boy will protect you."
"No-no oppa.. please dun say-"
"Listen to me.", he cut me off.
"It is time for me to go."
I started to cry, "No! Jimin please.", i held his hand tight.
He cupped my face while i wept out loud.
"Please.. forget me. But i love you more than everything so please.. be happy. I dun want you to be depressed. It is time for you to move on."
"No.. Don't leave.. Just stay with me.."
He raised my chin up so that our eyes met again. He hugged me one last time and wiped my tears while smiling.
"Promise me.. that you will move on and live your life. This is affecting you in many ways that you don't realise baby.."
I kept shaking my head. I'm too stubborn to give in.
"Please? You have to accept the reality. We can't be together anymore. Promise me you will stop blaming yourself about what happened and that you will live your life."
I nodded finally.
"That's my love."
He kissed me softly. That was our last kiss.
"I love you."
"I love you too."

End of Dream

My eyes snapped open to notice that my eyes were again wet. I wipped them and slowly walked out of the room. Rubbing my eyes and I saw Jungkook sleeping on the couch. I checked the clock and we were already late.It was 7:45 am and the classes started at 8.
"Yah.." I poked his shoulder.

No response

"YAH." i raised my voice a bit which shook him.
"Wha- What?"
He stood up fast but then fell of the couch since he lost control.
"Ouch.."
I laughed out loud.
"H-huh? What is it? Do you need something?", he stood up with his half closed eyes, wiping the saliva from his lips and his chubby cheeks.

Cute

I did not say anything and just laughed.
He was really puzzled.
"You are funny.", I continued laughing.
But I cleared my throat and said,
"We should get ready. Class starts in 15 minutes."
I went to the bathroom to get ready.

Jungkook's POV

She laughed for the first time. I got up, ruffling my messy hair and wiping the saliva off my face.

Today's gonna be a good day..
