"Zach, what the hell?!" I yelled. "Put me down now!" I shouted at him. And with that, he dropped me on the floor of the hallway. He had carried me out of the cafeteria after he lifted me up, he had swung me over his shoulder and carried me out of there like I was a sack of potatoes. Ugh. This boy. I haven't even known him for a day and he's already getting on my nerves.
But he saved you from suspension.
Who the hell are you?
I'm your conscious, idiot
Why are you here?
To help you realise your feelings.
Feelings for what?
Your feelings towards-
"Hey! Earth to Ash" someone snapped their fingers in front of my face, interrupting my conversation inside my head. Yep, I'm definitely losing my mind.
"Huh?" I reply stupidly.
"Welcome back. So tell, what is it like in Ash-landia?" Becca asked sarcastically. I give her a dry look, " oh, you know the usual, just golden brick roads, bubblegum pink castles and candyfloss trees." I reply with a sickly sweet smile."I wanna go tho Ash-landia! I wanna go to Ash-landia!" James jumps up and down like like child on their way to the park. "Later sweetheart, okay?" Marcus replies, playing along. " But I wanna go now!" James whines. We all role our eyes at his childishness. "I said, we're going later!" Marcus scolds. Then James tackles him to the floor, causing all of us to burst out in laughter.
As soon as we recovered from our laughing fit, we decided to ditch the rest of school and go out to eat, since we didn't get to properly eat lunch.

"So, you used to go to this school before?" Marcus asked me. "Yeah, but some.....stuff happened and left for a while." I say, not comfortable with the topic. "Well, the important thing is that you are here now." Becca says, sensing I didn't want to share the story for the second time today. While James and Marcus looked at me with confusion, while Zach just looked at me with interest. Like he was trying to figure me out. Weird.
"Ok, so what are we gonna get?" James asked. We were currently sitting at starbucks and deciding what to order.
"COFFEE!" Becca screamed. Adam rolled his eyes, "Wow, we had no idea they sell that here." He says sarcastically. "I know, I'm just special." She deadpans. "Yeah, your special alright. Specially mental." He mutters the last part under his breath. She shoots him a look, and if looks could kill, he would be six feet under.
After they stop their little banter, they look at us, noticing how quiet the table had become. We all stared at them with amused expressions. "What!" Becca shouts, throwing her hands up in exasperation. "Nothing." I reply, smirking. She gives me a weird look, but continues to look at the menu anyway. "You guys are so weird." She says. "But you love us anyways?" I ask her giving her my best puppy eyes. She looks at me and smiles, "Oh darling. I invented puppy eyes, they don't work on me." She says with a smirk. I pout. Everybody laughs and we start to order.
