[Tony's POV]
"So this sucks" I replied as I laid down on the small bed they provided. I'm there on time and already I've seen problems. People who are here who should clearly not be, people who are in the one's building who should CLEARLY be on the opposite side of campus in the two's building. But I'll live with it.
The campus is basic, the dorms are small, almost uncomfortably small. They seem like they would be a decent sized room for one person. Let alone two teenage males. I just feel that it would be smarter to... I don't know to give me my own room. That's the hope. My roommate hasn't shown up yet, so maybe Dad did pay off the school to get me my room. God, I hope so.
Just as I finished my thoughts a tall, muscular, broad-shouldered man walked into the room.
"Is this lust 398?"
"Yep, sure is. So I'm assuming you're, my roommate."
"Yes, it seems so. I am Thor Odinson. And you are?"
"Anthony Stark, but most people just call me Tony."
"Well, Tony it is a pleasure to meet you. I must ask a question though. Why is the hall called, lust? Isn't that a little provocative?"
"First off horny teenage boys are provocative and all of the halls are labeled after different words that have to do with love. Honestly, I think they're just trying to get us to have sex all the time, so we can meet our 2's faster and make the selection ball shorter, but I don't know. Just a thought."
"Oh. Um. That is wonderful. Well, I'm sorry to cut this meeting short, but I am going to go find my brother. He will probably need some help settling in. Goodbye Tony."
"Bye, Thor."
Damn, why are all the hot guy's ones?
[Loki's POV]
I requested a room for myself so I wouldn't get stuck with some imbecile. My father advised against it because I "needed to socialize", but clearly the request didn't go through. Because there was some dude on the opposite side of the room messing with some sort of metal.
I just wanted to read my books. Is that too much to ask. peace and quiet so I can read. That's about all I brought. Books. Shakespeare, Norse Mythology, fantasy, horror, you name it I have a book for it. All I wanted to do was sit down and organize my books in either author last name, Dewey decimal system, or the genre, but I couldn't decide.
Maybe I should ask my roommate. My sight was drawn to the opposite side of the room for the first time. It was black and silver. Not my taste at all their need to be a splash of color, like green or gold. But alas it was solid dark colors. Though it does compliment my side of the room. The dark greens, golds, and the black bookshelf in the corner. I felt like a God. I loved this room design. Who was I to criticize their style when it so nicely complimented mine.
"Uh, you got a problem?" It was only then that I noticed I was still staring at the other man's side of the room.
"No. I'm sorry. I was just admiring the décor on your side of the room. It is quite elegant if I must say so myself."
"Ya. But you don't have to say so."
"I apologize. May I at least get your name since we will be staying together for a while."
"Bucky."
"Well, then Bucky. I'm Loki."
"Whatever."
"What's your problem. I normally wouldn't ask, but I feel that since we will be staying together for a while I may want to know."
"I just don't see a point in being here when I already know who my soulmate is going to be. I want to go home with him and live the rest of my life with him by my side. I don't want to be stuck in this stupid dorm for a year."
"How do you know he will pick you?"
"Because he's my best friend. We agreed we would pick each other if we got the chance ever since we knew what Soulmate School was."
"That's so-" just as I was about to finish my sentence my headache, I mean, no I mean headache bounded into the room.
"Hello, brother!"
"Hello, Thor!"
"How are you settling in?"
"Just fine. Thor this is my roommate Bucky. Bucky, Thor."
"Nice to meet you, Thor. So whose your roommate."
"Anthony Stark, but he goes by Tony."
"Oh, my friend Steve talked to him on the train. He seems a little sketchy just be careful."
"I do not believe he is... how did you put it, sketchy? He seems decent enough."
"Thor, what did you need?" I just wanted him to leave me alone. I just wanted to organize my books and then have this year over with.
"Oh, nothing just coming to help you set up."
"Well I don't need any help, so could you leave." Thor looked hurt. He probably thought we formed some sort of bond after my little "incident", but he just caught me in a moment of weakness. And it would never happen again.
"Oh, okay then. Goodbye, brother."
"Goodbye Thor," he stumbled out of my dorm and closed the door behind him with a thud.
"Family issues?"
"You have no idea."
