Xavier's POV
I've been close with Amanda forever, now, we're always there for each other no matter what. I know she hates my girlfriend Helen, I don't know why, I don't see why she does. She's a perfect angel, always so sweet, and kind, unless something is going on that I don't know about. Amanda is coming up, I'll ask her right now. "Hey Amanda wait up!" She stopped, turned around, and hugged me, "Oh hey Xavier! Do you need anything?" I look straight at her and I asked, "Why do you hate Helen so much" she looks at me with that glare that she only gets when she's mad or when you know you asked something stupid. "You wouldn't get it Xavier, you will never get it" after she said that she stormed off into class. What did I do wrong?
Amanda's POV
He doesn't get it does he. He doesn't understand why I hate her. He doesn't see it, all he sees is a sweet little angel while I see a devil, a cold hearted devil. She's evil, I know she's just using him. I have to protect him. Oh great, she spotted me. Her and her minions come surround me in a circle. "Hey girls, look it's the ugliest girl in the whole entire 8th grade." All of her minions start laughing and pointed at me. They smack my books down, ripped off my glasses, and continued laughing. I pulled out my phone and texted Xavier where I was. He came running over. Next thing I know they're arguing. "Helen! What are you doing to Amanda?" "I didn't do anything, she did this all herself!" "Why would Amanda do this to herself, she isn't like that!" "Why are you accusing me Xavier, I'm your girlfriend!" "Not anymore" after he said those words she stormed off. He looked at me and helped me with my books. "I'm so sorry, I didn't know this was happening, why didn't you tell me?" "Xavier, I tried, it's just you were in love with her and I didn't want to ruin your happiness" "You wouldn't ruin it, I only am happy when you are happy Amanda." I smiled. We walked to class together and of course we knew after this day, it will all change.
