Nolan Holloway sits in the Beacon Hills High School library with an open textbook and some notes in front of him but either of those things were being used since Nolan was too busy staring at you.

She's so pretty. Thinks Nolan with an awestruck expression on his face with his hand resting in his hand as he looks at you, who is studying with your brother

Nolan continues to look at you with his lovey-dovey expression along with a matching sweet, fond smile until his admiring is interrupted by a hand being placed on his shoulder. Nolan quickly snaps his eyes away from yours after jumping at the hand before he looks up to see it's just Liam.

"Oh hey, Liam....I-I wasn't staring at Y/N....just lookin' outside." lies Nolan with a nervous tone and slightly heated cheeks

"Yeah, whatever, Nolan, look just remember that conversation you, and I had about your feelings for Y/N that Theo somehow overheard." suggests Liam with a raised brow not wanting his friend to get hurt by the older werewolf

"Yeah, I do. Theo told to never talk about it again and to definitely not tell her or he will run me over with his truck." responds Nolan as he thinks back to the conversation with a slight shutter and wince due to how scary Theo was

"Yeah, well I think you should tell her." says Liam causing Nolan to look at him confused

Does Liam want me to die? Thinks Nolan with wide eyes and confusion

"But Theo said-" started Nolan

"Don't worry about Theo, I'll handle him, I'm telling you to go tell her." says Liam giving the brown-haired boy a smile as he starts to leave

"Theo is heading away from the table now, he is going to get something from his car, so Y/N will be alone for a few minutes." adds Liam making Nolan's eyes light up while an oblivious Theo walks out the library doors

Which is how Nolan ended up standing in front of your table with nervousness shining in his eyes.

Okay, you can do this Liam said you should. thinks Nolan before he finally decides to speak up

"H-hey Y-Y/N." greets Nolan with a nervous stutter as he fidgets slightly causing you to look up from your textbook

You then instantly smile as you see the adorable boy.

"Hey, Nolan, sit down." You say noticing that the boy seems quite nervous like something is going on

"So what's up?" You ask as Nolan hesitantly and quite awkwardly sits down somehow managing to not tumble to the floor as he does so

"I want to tell you something." Nolan gets out
without a stutter as his blue eyes drift around too nervous to look into your eyes

"Okay, what is it?" You question softly knowing whatever he has to tell you must be a big deal due to how he is acting

"I like you Y/N like as in more than a friend like you." answers Nolan adding the explanation to make sure you understand correctly as he looks down at the table

Your smile grows at the cute boy's confession while Nolan rambles.

"I know you may not like me back because you know what with the hunters and because... everyone thinks I'm weird and you are like the most amazing girl ever. I-" start Nolan

"I like you too, Nolan." You interrupt, causing Nolan's head to snap up with a stunned expression before a grin spreads over his face

"Where do you two think you are going?" asks Theo once he returns from going to the car to see the two of you holding all your things and looking ready to go

Before Theo notices that the two of you are holding hands causing him to glare at the ex-hunter.

"We are going on a date." Chirps Nolan excitedly too happy to remember Theo's threat

"So we'll see you later." You add with a smile before you drag a grinning Nolan out of the library before Theo could explode on the two of you

"Dunbar! What the hell did you do?! All I did was steal one of your cookies!"
