You felt Scott getting hurt was all your fault. You are a hybrid and a vampire had attacked Scott in an attempt to kidnap him and then get to you but Scott ended up beating the vampire but not without getting injured.
"I'm so sorry." You say as you try to clean the blood off of Scott's face while the two of you are on the Alpha's bed
"What?....Why are you saying sorry? This wasn't your fault." asks Scott confused
"They only went after you because of me, Scott. It sort of is my fault." You reply as you look down at the bed
Scott gently caress your face in your hands moving your head gently to look you in the eyes.
"It's not your fault Y/N, you didn't force or ask that man to try and kidnap me. You didn't ask them too nor did you ever think they would. It's not your fault, not even a little." says Scott looking into your y/e/c colored eyes
"I don't blame you, Y/N. Nobody blames you so you definitely shouldn't blame yourself. The only person to blame is that vampire." Scott adds with a hundred percent seriousness
"I love you and I just don't want to see you get hurt." You say softly as you look into Scott's eyes
"I know, but Y/N, you can't always be there to stop these things no matter how much you want to that's just not possible. Besides I'm a big boy I can handle myself. I'll be okay." says Scott with a small smile to lighten the air
"I know." You sigh out resting your head on Scott's
"I love you." Scott says softly to you
"I love you too." You say with a soft smiling
You lean up and quickly press your lips to Scott's in a sweet kiss.
