"So you figured out what's up with him?" Your friend asks making you sigh as you look down at your drink as you stand in the middle of her currently very crowded backyard
"Not yet." You reply glancing back at your retreating boyfriend's back who had left to fetch you plus him a drink.
You are dating the one and the only Jackson Whittemore. The two of you have been together for quite a long time now, longer than anyone would have ever guessed including you. Let's be honest Jackson isn't really the type of the guy that stays with one girl for too long. So you were quite surprised at the fact you guys have lasted for a little more than a year and a half now. Which is by far Jackson's longest relationship. Though since you had been with him for that long that when the Whittemore boy started acting a bit off, you instantly noticed and got worried.
Even though most people saw your boyfriend as a total heartless jerk, you knew that was just a front. Jackson isn't the nicest guy in the whole world but to you, he is nice....for Jackson at least. Jackson cares about you. He shows you he cares in little ways like offering to take you to school every day, always making sure his jersey is clean for you to wear, and without fail is there for you when you need him. All these things more than Jackson would never normally ever do for someone else. Jackson wasn't one to talk about his feelings or show his emotions through words. Which is fine with you because you know he has some issues with emotions and you don't need to hear him say them. Though it didn't mean you were confident enough to tell the boy the total extent of your feelings. Though of course, Jackson did show his feelings in one not so subtle way when he got jealous. According to him, Jackson doesn't feel threatened by other guys since he is Jackson Whittemore but that doesn't mean he likes seeing someone flirt with his girl....though lately something was different.
Jackson got jealous, but it wasn't a very often thing until recently. Before he only got jealous when a guy started laying hands on you now if one so much as looks at you in the wrong way, he snaps. You had tried to figure out what had caused this sudden change in your boyfriend because you could tell this was happening due to something being wrong with him, but you couldn't seem to, even though you had tried your hardest. Danny had even tried but to no prevail. Jackson had also been a bit different as well. Jackson had been almost... a bit clingy lately and was acting weird in the sense he was being nice...like normal person nice. You weren't necessarily complaining, but Jackson just wasn't acting like the boyfriend you were used too right now. It was almost like someone else had taken over his body....it was definitely unusual and slightly concerning.
You had no clue what is going on with him but part of you thought maybe something was going on. You knew Jackson hasn't been the most faithful boyfriend ever to other girls in the past so you had to admit you are a bit worried this behavior was due to him possibly cheating on you. Danny had reassured you it wasn't but that hadn't done much to comfort you.
