As Glenn walked home from the courts he thought about the condoms in Nathan's tennis bag. There were so many better things for him to think about- his and Nathan's success as a doubles team that morning, the fact that Nathan had clearly avoided him for the past nine months for seemingly no reason, the fact that Nathan had agreed to spend time with him and go pick out new rackets- but no. He chose to focus on the thing that bothered him the most.

Condoms. A lot of condoms... Condom wrappers.

Glenn wasn't an idiot. He knew that Nathan was a slut, knew that the other boy had sex with anyone who wanted to have sex with him, and he had known this when he had fallen in love with him two years ago. There was just something about Nathan that made Glenn disregard all the warning signs.

The many many warning signs. Too many condom wrappers.

Glenn wondered if Nathan had used all of them himself. Could a man even produce that much semen throughout their lives? Unable to help himself, Glenn snickered at his stupid thought, but his amusement didn't last long when he reminded himself that yes, men did produce that much semen, and there was no denying that Nathan had produced that much.

As Glenn walked up to the front door of his house, he wondered who Nathan was having all his sex with. Jean apparently, he had learned today, standing close enough to the pair of friends- or couple he supposed- to overhear their conversation. Lawson also seemed to be included on Nate's lists of conquests, though Glenn thought Nathan may had been joking when he insulted the boy earlier.

Sighing, Glenn removed his house keys from his tennis bag and unlocked the front door of his house. Even though he knew the chances of anyone being home were slim, he still called out to his family to be sure. When no one answered, he immediately dropped his tennis bag down on the floor, making a note to to move it later, and removed his sweat drenched shirt. The air conditioning wasn't on since their heating and cooling bill had been much higher than his mother anticipated the month before, so to cool down Glenn was forced to go to the kitchen and stand in front of the open fridge.

That of course didn't make him feel any better when he noticed how the inside lacked food. "Fuck". Glenn pulled open the freezer and breathed out a sigh of relief upon realizing that they would at least have enough for dinner that night.

His hands welcomed the cold of the frozen beef roast as he removed it from it's shelf.

As he was cutting it out of the plastic wrap his phone rang, and he looked around, trying to identify the location of the sound before remembering that his phone was still in his tennis bag. Before he went to answer it, he finished his task, putting the roast in the crockpot and turning it on.

Rebecca was always persistent, and she was still on the line by the time Glenn answered it. Immediately, she spoke. "Grace and I are going to the grocery store and you're coming with". His best friend didn't ask, she demanded, and Glenn shot a look into his kitchen, remembering how alarmingly vacant the fridge was becoming.

He didn't say this. "Why are you going to the grocery store?"

"Why do you think?"

Glenn groaned. "I really wish that you two could go any period of time without seeing each other. I'm sick of you being everywhere all the time". Rebecca made an unconcerned noise.

"Well we can't," she said. "Are you coming or not?"

Glenn thought about it. "Yeah, I guess. I'm actually shopping though, not kissing my boyfriend," he said, taunting Rebecca who just snorted.

"That's because you don't have one. Alright alright, we'll be there in like ten minutes. See you soon". The line cut and Glenn groaned, looking down at his cellphone for a minute before throwing it down onto the couch.
