My weird ass dream

"Ugh. It's you"

You know those movie scenes where the mean girl sashays down the hallway looking flawless hair blowing hips swaying and that sort of thing? Okay well imagine that on the most gorgeous boy you've ever seen. 

"Wow" was all I could say as he was approaching us. "Hey bestie! How are you?" he said to me very happily. 

Didn't he just want to kill me? That's weird. Maybe it's a normal in the 'Other Side'. That's what I'm calling this crazy upside down world. 

His face slowly morphed into one of hate and disgust. "Finally. I thought she was never going to leave." he said while rolling his eyes. I looked to see what he was talking about and sure enough, there was my sister walking away checking up on some students on her way inside the school. She must have stopped behind me to check on me.

"Um hi?" I sort of asked.

"Why were you staring at me?" he growled at me. His glare hardened and his fists curled.

"Are you trying to scare me? Because you're failing badly lol." I said amused. "Mya come one let's go we're going to be late to introduce the new kids." said Kailee her voice giving away her concern.

Oh yeah. I had completely forgotten that we're introducing the new kids. Why is being new to the school so important here? The Other Side is very unusual..I kind of like it. It's much more interesting than my normal boring life. I guess I could get used to being here.

"Hello? Earth to Mya?" Kailee looked a little annoyed. "Huh? What happened?" I asked confused. "You went to Myopolis again." she said nonchalantly. I guess that's what she calls me spacing out. Maybe I'll use that when I go back home...If..I go home.

"HELLO?" she shouted in my face. "What? Jeez you don't have to shout" I said a bit hurt. Kailee face palmed. "Um hello? I'm still here!" said a very angry looking  gorgeous boy.

"What do you want?" Kailee asked while rolling her eyes. "Was I talking to you?" he scoffed. "Excuse me? Who gave you the right to talk to her like that?" I said getting a little cheesed.

I scoffed and grabbed Kailee's arm and walked away.

"Are you okay babe?" Kailee asked concerned. "Yeah. It's just no one talks to my babe like that. No one." I said very cheesed now. 

"Who is that guy anyway?" I asked myself. "Are you sure you're okay? You're acting weirder than usual. Do you need to go see Derek?" she said getting anxious.

"Kailee...I need to tell you something and you can't flip out okay?" I whispered hesitantly.

"You're scaring me babe, but sure." She nodded quietly. "Not here." I hinted. She nodded in acknowledgement. She pulled me into a nearby empty classroom. 

"Do you believe in the impossible?" I asked quietly. "Are you kidding me? I became friends with you didn't I? Mya, you ARE the impossible. That's what I love most about you" she grabbed my hands and smiled. I hugged her tightly then hesitantly let go. 

I took a deep breath.

"Ithinkilandedinaparalleluniversebecausenothingishowit'ssupposedtobeandihavenoclueastogetbackhomeandhelpmeKaileei'mscared" I whispered in one breath.

"I have no idea how I understood that...I think? Did you say that you're stuck in an alternate universe and you need my help to get home?" she retorted slowly trying to process what had just come out of my mouth.

"Umm.. yes?"

"Okay umm...let me think for a second." Wow she's really taking this well.

"Let's go." She grabbed my arm and took me out into the hallway. It wasn't until then that I realized just how big the school was. It was really big on the outside, but somehow it seems to have gotten bigger on the inside. It's like  Hermione's bag in here.

She led me down the long hall to a door that said Derek's office. Don't people have titles in this school? Like guidance counselor or nurse or something?  We walked in and Kailee immediately started squealing.

I was a little confused until I looked up at him. Holy cheese and crackers that is a very sexy man.

"Must you do that every time Kailee?" he smiled a little.

Oh my jeez his accent is even sexier! Everything is better with an accent!

"What's up girls? What can I help you with?" he sat down behind his desk. 

"You can help me all night long" Kailee failed to whisper.

You wouldn't imagine the shock and embarrassment that came over my features. Derek cleared his throat and stood. Kailee's face dropped. "Oh no. Did I say that out loud?" 

Derek and I nodded simultaneously very slowly. She then proceeded to clear her throat and get her composure back. "Ahem well what was it that you girls needed?" he asked.

"We need help." I concluded.
