The first day was going smoothly.
Violet guided me through every class, and I got to know her also.
I found out that really was into corny jokes, pretty unusual I guess.
She was one of the first normal girls I've ever talked to and I've been having this feeling that maybe somehow I could be more than friends with this girl but it also seems impossible.
She was now taking me to the cafeteria when I fall on the ground because something knocks me down.
"Jessie!" I hear Violet yell as she tries to help me up.
"What hit me?" I asked, as I rub the back of my head.
"A football."
Then I see a green aura walk up to Violet and I.
It wasn't a pretty green though, it was puke green and it splatched all over whoever was walking towards us.
"I'm sorry man." I hear the person say.
"That was rude of you, Jessie." Violet says.
"Sorry babe, didn't mean it."
Babe?
"Well Jessie, this is Luke. He's a new student and I'm his guider." I hear her say.
I really did like the way she said my name, how it rolled off her tongue. Even though I couldn't see her tongue, or anyones tongue in the matter of fact. I'm blind, but a boy can imagine.
"Oh."
That's the oh I always hear when I know the fact that I am blind.
It's the pity oh. When they feel sorry for the guy who can't see anything.
"Well, it's nice to meet you, Luke. See you later, Violet." That's when I hear a kissing noise.
And the feeling of my heart shattering.
