Days got more colder and colder. Everytime I wake up, shivers from the night are still there and a spirit named 'laziness' possessed me. Today, I got no plans on waking up, but if I don't then I'll definitely suffer in this cold life.

And since things get so boring I decided to get up 'cause I got no choice at all. Not even giving a time to fix my own bed, I headed downstairs for breakfast.

"Mom, good morniiiing~!" I surprised my mom who' s at the kitchen, busy making our menu of the morning.

Although I noticed how she looked half asleep, she still gave that sweet smile.

"Kookie~ breakfast's still not done yet, are you hungry?"

"Not yet, mom. But I am sure excited with what you'll be cooking later!"

A beam is all I can show while seeing my mother cooking my favorite: morning bacons & eggs.

But I noticed something different.

My mom...

She's been acting... different.

"Mom, are you alright?"

She immediately looked back at me, wondering why I asked about her mood.

"Nothing sweetheart. I'm just tired."

Though I know she'll try to convince me that she's okay, I stood up to hug her tight. And there I heard my mom crying loud. The last time I heard that cry was because of my dad. It was a cry of a broken hearted whose trying to forget the past and loved someone else, but that someone else gave her the same pain he felt to my dad. My mom's been crying everytime they talk and now I feel angry.

What did he do this time?

"Mom, I'm heading out!" I loudly asked while grabbing my shoes before going outside my room.

While I was busy getting ready to meet her, I saw my mother grabbing some things upstairs. It was a big bag that has wheels with something on it, maybe clothes because I've seen those once when my father was leaving for a business trip.

"M-Mom? Are you heading somewhere?"

She stopped dragging the bag then looked at me with her pale face, "No, honey. We are heading somewhere."

"W-Wait, we?! But Mom-?" "No time to explain, get in the car!" She exclaimed as we both walked faster heading outside and entered the car.

As mom started the car and about to drive, I saw her at the back of the car, trying to shout for me to hear. I rolled the windows down for me to see her for the last time.

"Hey! Where are you going?! DON'T LEAVE! PLEASE!"
"Wait for me soon, I'll find you, I promise!"

As I told her that, she never stopped halting me to leave her. She tried to ran as fast as she could just to reach me again, but stopped and cried.

Though I followed what my mom wants, I worried about the girl that I like. I can't leave her, I promised her that I'll protect and keep her safe with me...

...but now I have to leave.

I'm sorry...

But I love you still...

I'll find you...

I promise.
