CHAPTER FOUR

wes's POV-

,Once we were done all our classes Mari and I went to the ice cream parlor that was down the road. " is this a date?" She asked. "I don't know it could be if you want I to" she blushed, and I smiled. We walked in and took a seat at a table, soon a lady came skating to us, "Welcome to Pasteys ice cream parlor, what would you like to order?" The lady handed us two menus, Mari ordered 'the happy paster' and i ordered 'the double happy' with extra chocolate and stringy licorice. Mari looked at me in surprise, "someone has a sweet tooth" she smiled and looked around, "this place is soo retro!" She exclaimed. "so, now that we're dating," the waiter passed us our orders and the spoons, we then thanked her and she walked away. "yeah?" She asked. "I was wondering how you would feel about, sleepovers?" She smiled and raised her eyebrows. "I thought we were fine with that?" She said as she took a small scoop out of her ice cream. I leant over and kissed her, and so did she. " I love you" I said. "I love you two," we kissed again and meant back. "thank you for paying for my ice cream" she smiled, I raised one eyebrow. "what?" I said confused. "well it is a date isn't it?" She grinned, "sneaky!" I yelled as we both laughed. We quickly finished our deserts and payed the cashier. We walked outside with our hands intertwined and her head leaning on mine, I walked Mari back to her house. Mari knocked on the door and her mom quickly answered the door. "Hey Mar- oh..." Mari had an awkward look on her face, I broke the silence, "Ahh.. Hey Mrs Takahashi, I'm Wesley Johnson, Maris boyfriend" She looked at Mari surprised. "Ahh, hi I'm Maris mom, ahh... Welcome in" she smiled and turned sideways. Mari and I sat on the couch just talking. "Honey I'm home!" Mari put her hand on her forehead, "My dad" she said disappointed. I turned and saw Maris dad, his face then dropped, so I stood up, " ahh hey I'm Wesley, Maris boyfriend" he looked like he almost fainted, I then noticed he changed the way he walked, he swooshed his hair out the way and started to walk like he had a limp. "ahh sup brother, what's up with you?" I looked at Mari and saw that she was embarrassed. "DAD! DON'T TALK LIKE THAT!" He then stood straight and and smiled. " so, Mari, where did you guys go?" Maris dads face turned stern, "Wes took me out" Mari said. "oh, okay, exploring the town already?" Mari grinned and nodded, Maris dad leant against the wall acting like a cool kid. "so wes" he began, "tell me about yourself" Mari bit her lip and her dad picked at his teeth. "well, I was born and raised here in this town, I'm 18, and I'm at my first year at college." Her dad had made that 'oh' face. "cool," he said. "Wes and I are going to my bedroom okay?" "wait!" Maris mom started to run up the stairs and quickly came back down "Wes I like you, and I trust that you will use the 'things' willingly" her dad nodded his head as well. We both walked upstairs.

Maris POV-

,My parents are soo embarrassing! I opened the door to my room WHAT THE FUCK! We walked in and there were condoms scattered all over my queen bed. "OH MY GOD!" I covered my eyes and walked out but wes dragged me back into my room and threw my onto the bed. Wes chuckled and kissed me. "I hate this" I screamed. "this is great" I punched him in the stomach. "what?!" I yelled. "I mean they trust me so if you I don't know, he pregnant they wouldn't be mad!" I smiled while shaking my he's."you know your happy!" He exclaimed. "your a dick!" We both laughed and I pulled him onto my bed. "I love you" I said, "I love you two." He kissed me and I kissed back. "I'm gonna go now, see you tomorrow babe." He kissed me on the forehead and clicked his fingers.
