Barry x Reader

"Darn it!" Barry wined as he returned his Pokémon. "I lost! Now I'm going to fine you!"

You rolled your eyes and you petted your starter Pokémon. For awhile now, you been training and hanging out with Barry a lot. You did think he was cute, but you didn't really like how he was impatient, immature, and always saying he was going to 'fine' Someone.

"You know you say that all the time and you never do so." You said with a chuckle.

Barry's angry face faded and blushed. He looked away from you, embarrassed a little.

"So what if I don't really fine you!" Barry said. "I mean... you are my friend. So why should I fine you?"

You returned your starter Pokémon and looked at him.

"Really? You wouldn't fine me because I'm your friend?" You asked.

"Well, I think you are my friend..." Barry said as he began to play with his fingers. "But I don't think you consider me as a friend."

"Barry, of course I consider you as a friend!" You said as you warped one arm around him. "That's why I'm hanging out with you."

Barry looked at you and gave you a cheeky smile, with a slight blush. "Thanks, you really are the best." He said.

"Now, let's go to the Pokémon center and get your Pokémon healed." You said.

"Alright, but... as long as you hold my hand..." he stated, softer than usual.

"Sure." You said. "It's better than being fined."

You both laughed as you both held hands and walked to the closest Pokémon center.
