Chapter-2 A Good News

7th May, 2018

High school- class 10  

3rd person(P.O.V)

It was the very first day of class 10 and Senjal enters the school. She goes to the 2nd floor to find out which classroom she is in. She roams around the halls of the 2nd floor until she stumbles upon a classroom which had the name 'Shawn' written on it. 

Senjal: Wow! That name reminds me of a guy who I met on tinder 2 years ago. 

After some walking around the corridor she finally finds her name in a list. 

Senjal entered the classroom only to find out that all the seats were full except for the one at the side row near the window and along with the fact that Zaira and Ruby were her classmates. Senjal walks towards the empty seat and plops bag down on the chair.

Suddenly, a loud laughter erupts behind her and she turns around to find her best friends, Jennie Mitchell and Krystal Shelley talking with two guys Alex Fritz and Xander Mazzini.

Xander: I don't play soccer because I enjoy the sport. I'm just doing it for kicks. 

 Alex: Yo! You gonna watch the World Cup?  

Jennie: Isn't it obvious?

Krystal: Of course we are gonna watch it.

Xander: Want to hear a joke about paper? 

Jennie: No. Keep it to yourself.

Xander: Nevermind it's too tearable.

Alex: Wow, that's really funny dude.

Krystal: Which team are you supporting in the World cup?

Alex: Portugal, of course. CR7 is the best.

Xander: France........no....Mexico.....no no......um.....Germany.....no wait I think I am suppo-

Senjal walks towards them and they turn towards her.

Jennie: Hey Bish, 'sup?

Krystal: Oh hey! didn't see you there. Don't creep up like that. Be more like a human and approach from the front.

 Senjal: Atleast I am more human then this girl over here. *points at Jennie*  

Jennie: I am sorry, which language are you speaking? It sounds like bull****. I think you need a high five in the face, with a chair.

Before they could talk any further, a teacher enters the class and escorts all the students to the assembly ground. In the assembly ground,  Senjal sees a handsome guy talking with his friends. She gets shy and goes towards Jennie and Krystal. They stand in the line and hear the nonsense things that people spit out.

~Time Skip to the Announcement~

Anchor: Good morning students.

All the students stare at him bored and some mumble a good morning under their breath. 

Anchor: I am here to announce a really important thing that will mark the beginning of this session.

All the students get excited and start whispering with each other.

Anchor: All the students of class 10 are required to be present at the school auditorium at 10:00 am sharp. Thank you.

After the announcement, the assembly ends and all the students head towards their class.
