Diary Entry #1

I knew I would find someone I love someday

But I didn't know that it was you who was headed my way

You caught me off guard and took me by surprise

But all I could do was stare and look into your eyes

I wish you would know

The thing I'm too scared to show.

I hope that you could see

Just how much you mean to me.

I feel a heaviness on my heart 

It's a mixture of emotions and feelings that sets my heart apart

I don't know how to explain without writing,

So here I am with all my words rhyming.

I usually run away from the feelings that I feel,

But never have I felt love being this real.
