A Radnid Story

Chapter Six

The two arrived at Rad's house.

They had gone up to Rad's room.

Enid sat on his bed.

"Enid. You gotta tell me what's wrong." Rad said sitting down beside her.

Enid was quiet for a few minutes.

"A trooper had come by the dorm tonight saying they needed me for something so i went with them..the P.O.I.N.T Prep Professors know that i know what they're doing." Enid said.

Rad frowned.

"They..They brought up that Gifted & Talented Class. i refused & they didn't let up so i ran through the corridors but Chip found me & grabbed a hold of me.. i kicked him & fought back but he hit me with a glorb." Enid explained.

Enid had marks up her arms clear that she was grabbed roughly.

Rad hugged her.

"I should've listened to you." Enid admitted.

Enid pulled away from him & her gaze dropped.

"What do you mean?" Rad asked.

"P.O.I.N.T Prep. You tried to talk me out of it but i never listened." Enid said looking up at him teary eyed.

Rad softly kissed her.

"I'll help you get through this."

"But i have a glorb inside of me. Chip Damage can activate it anytime & i'll..i'll get this crazy power charge & i might hurt you!" Enid said terrified.

"Shh. Shh." Rad coaxed.

"It's okay Enid." Rad said as he moved some hair out of Enid's face.

Enid finally calmed down & laid beside him.

"I'm so stupid." Enid said miserably.

"I could've ran but i just sat there like some sort of idiot & i got hit by a glorb. i don't wanna go crazy. i don't want this power." Enid said angrily.

Rad wrapped his arms around her.

"Stop. It's okay, i'll help you get through it. Don't shame yourself, i love you." Rad said as his face blushed.

Enid blushed.

"i love you too."

"That's better." Rad said satisfied that Enid seemed to be alright now.

"Enid. Enid."

Enid felt Rad nudge her softly.

"Hmph?" Enid asked tiredly as she rolled over to look at him.

"Hey." Rad began.

"What time is it?" Enid asked closing her eyes again.

"5:00 in the morning." Rad answered.

"Go back to sleep." Enid said dozing off again.

"No. Here come with me." Rad said getting off the bed.

Enid blinked her eyes open.

Rad looked at her pleadingly.

Enid stretched & stood up.

Rad opened up his window, the roof was there.

"This will be worth it. Trust me."

Rad took her hand & he led her out the window to sit on the roof.
