Walking though the forest, Cassie kept her eye opened. It has been hours since she and Lucas found the sick girl, Quinn. Their original plan was to hideout near the river but after the first troop past them, nearly spotting them, they had to move. Having Quinn's arm over Lucas and Cassie, the two dragged her though the forest. Cassie led, or at least tried to. Lucas couldn't led, not without bumping or tripping on something. And Quinn was way to weak to even take a step.
Holding Quinn's arm over her Right side, Cassie led her group past some trees. Lucas was quiet, once in a while asking if there was any obstacles that he could trip on. Quinn was awake, but not in her full mind.
"He He, pretty birdie. Me touchie." Quinn mumbles reaching towards a bird up high in a tree.
"Quinn you need rest, your getting a little bit... Umm... Loopy." Cassie says nicely looking at Quinn with a sad smile.
"I like being loopy cheeseburger." Quinn smiles drowsily.
"We should stop here." Cassie sighs, together she and Lucas lowered Quinn.
Leaning her against a tree, Cassie turns to Lucas.
"Lucas, do why this is happening?" Cassie asks.
"I have no idea... But..." Lucas starts to say then breaks off, raising a hand in a notion to wait Lucas turns to the right.
"I think something is watching us." He whispers.
"H-how do you know? I-is it one of those cosplay Men In Black people?" Cassie asks, not hearing a thing.
Lucas didn't answer, just looking in one direction. Then emerging from the bushes.... A bunny. Taking a breath of relief, Cassie watches the critter ran off into the woods.
"What was it?" Lucas asks.
"Just a animal." Cassie says with a hint of a smile.
"Was it a eagle or a fox?" He asks.
This caught Cassie off guard, a eagle and a fox? Why would he ask if it was those animals?
"No just a bunny." She says
"Oh...." He says, kinda disappointed.
After a moment of silence a question popped into Cassie's head, looking back at Lucas She asks.
"Lucas, how can you hear so good?" She asks.
"Umm.... Well I am blind so my sense have to be better then most." He says
"No, I seen blind people before. And even they don't have as good senses as you." Cassie says, remembering a blind girl from her 18th school.
"Oh... I... Umm.... Maybe she was recently blind and she was adapting to her blindness?" Lucas offered, the uncertainty in his voice making Cassie thinks he's lying.
"He could have hearing aids." Quinn sings lazily behind them.
"H-How about we move now? We waited too long." Lucas says quickly, hiding something.
Cassie nods, not wanting to push him. He's blind after all. Yawning, she and Lucas picked up Quinn.
Cassie was tired, more then usual. She was part owl, and her animal side was craving for sleep. Cassie just wishes she could just fall asleep right now, wake up in the night and fly in her animal form.
Cassie didn't noticed that Lucas stopped until she felt Quinn lagging back. Looking back, Lucas was making the same motion with his hand again. Hearing something. This time Cassie heard it too, knowing what will happen soon.
Lucas starts to try to run, taking his hint, the two half ran half carries Quinn as fast as they could. A shout came behind them telling the three to stop.
Then they were surrounded.

"Peter where are Nova and Zach?" Kaito asks in alarm, leaning over the tiny grey mouse.
"I-I don't know!" Peter responses, fear flooding through him.
"They've been caught." Feral says in a monotone voice, her Wolverine eyes showing no emotion.
"H-how do you know? T-they could have just been separated?!" Evelyn says hopefully.
"These agents will get what they came for. At any cost. I bet the only reason why Peter escape is because he turned into a mouse. Too tiny to catch." Feral says, looking at the deer.
"I know Nova, she won't go down without a fight." Kaito says with a weak smile, confident in his friend.
"That will just make it worse. These people don't treat people like us as humans. They only think of us as animals.... Monsters. The more of a fight someone puts up, the more pain they'll get." Feral explains, hiding all emotions.
Staring at Feral, silence feel between the group. None of them experience this before, knowing that these people will hurt others because they are not full human. Then a realization fell on Kaito.
"Feral, How do you know this?" He asks, knowing he will not like the answer.
"It's personal.... But everything I just said was true. We need to save them and quick." Feral says, switching the subject as quickly as she could.
Then without another word, Feral starts heading the direction Peter came from. Following her Kaito, Evelyn, and Peter stayed behind. Turning into their human forms they traveled though the forest.
It may have been better if they traveled in animal form for covered, but every wereanimal knows three  very important things about changing into animal form. First is that changing into animal form takes consternation, and it doesn't help when agents are after you. Second, your animal side's instincts could take over. And it would not end up well for the mouse and deer if anyone's animal instincts toke over. And lastly, if you stay too long in animal form you could never change back into a human, but that's just a rumor. A rumor no one wants to risk.
The sun was setting, and soon lights of agent's flashlights dotted all over the forest.
"We need to find a place to sleep." Evelyn said behind Peter.
"And let ourselves get captured? No way." Feral says, stopping to look at Evelyn.
"Feral She has a point, we can't just keep avoiding these people while we are tired." Peter says, backing up Evelyn.
"Then where should we go. These agents probably checked all made shift shelters, and will probably check there again." Feral says.
Sighing, Kaito looks down. Looking to his right he sees a clearing. A dead tree laid there, an idea popped into his head.
"Guys I know a place where we can go." Kaito said, getting everyone's attention.
"Where is this place?" Feral asked, crossing her arms.
"Follow me." Kaito says, Then takes off towards his left.
Not knowing what else to do, the three follow. After a 15 minute walk Kaito spots a log cabin. The lights were off, but Kaito knew this place all to well. Keeping quiet, he heads over to the right of the cabin. Seeing a bush, he smiles. Making a motion with his hand as a 'follow-me', Kaito heads straight into the bush and disappears.
Ducking inside Peter, Feral, and Evelyn emerge into a small cave like area. Making out a ladder in the darkness, they head done it.
"What is this place?" Peter says in aw.
Flicking on the lights, it was clear this place was a bunker. Concrete walls surrounded this place from the dirt. In front was a food storage area, supplies of food and water were stacked up here. To the right was a room, 2 cots were set out. Another set of cots were laid on the floor. Then to the left another room was set up. The doors were closed.
"What is this place?" Quinn asked.
"This is Nova's family bunker." Kaito informed.
"Wow I didn't know she was prepared for this." Feral says in surprise.
"Nova? Prepared? Ha! No way, this place was built by her brother John." Kaito Laughed.
"Wait Nova has a brother?" Peter asks, as Kaito goes to the close doors opening them.
Inside sitting on a chair behind a office like desk a man sat their. Messy chestnut brown hair was pulled back in a man bun. His green eyes boating down at the four, his olive skin flowed against the single candle light in the room. Wearing a black tank top, he looked ready to fight. His arms ripped with muscle, clear as day he works out often.
"Hey John." Kaito says, unfazed by his threatening look.
"Where is my baby sister?" He asked in a deep brooding voice.
