We all think about the dark the wrong way
Usually when it's dark we cower in fear
We run home and hide out there the whole night
Sure there are some dangers in the dark
But there are many beauties in the dark
Many things that can't be seen during the day
The light that we all know and love is depriving us of these marvels
Marvels that can only be found in the night sky
Not during the day
During the day you can't see the starstruck sky
Those glistening stars
Oh how they amaze me everytime I gaze at them
These certainly are one of the beauties of the dark that we take for granted
At night we can see orions belt, ursa minor, ursa major
But during the day what can we see?
Nothing is visible but clouds and the blinding sun
At night the fireflies come out
Their tiny little lights blinking through the night
The light hides their beauty
Perhaps the most beautiful thing to be seen at night is the moon
It's ivory surface shines in the dark
What makes it so beautiful is that we may look upon it
We have the privilege of being able to gaze upon the moon each night
Sometimes, the greatest beauties can only be seen, in the dark
