The Peculiar Girl

The Peculiar Girl

The peculiar girl is a girl like no other

There's something about her that sets her apart from other girls

She doesn't move with the current

Instead she goes against it

She listens to bands and likes old music

She likes the colors blue and gray

Gray because it's an in between color

Ocean blue because it's dark yet light at the same time

She finds the color mysterious

Mysterious...

The peculiar girl is mysterious

Very mysterious

She leaves your mind full of mysteries

She's like a safe

But her combination is nearly impossible to find out

Nearly...

If given enough time someone could figure out the combination to her vault

That'd take a while

She loves movies

The word love can't even describe how much she loves them

She can't live without movies

This girl does not like to show her real self

Why?

She says she's not that interesting to know about

But that is surely false

She's quite interesting

She's asks things people normally don't ask

She dances spontaneously

But what is most peculiar about her is that she denies her own beauty

The peculiar girl is stunningly beautiful

But she says that she is "decent" looking

Decent is an understatement

She simply won't accept that she's beautiful

She denies it entirely

A quite peculiar thing

Her name means calmness of the heavens

This perhaps is the least peculiar thing about the peculiar girl

This girl, the peculiar girl

Is no ordinary girl
