The Simplicity Of Destruction

Why is it so easy to destroy?

Yet it is so hard build.

We spend all this time building things up.

Only to have them decimated in an instant.

A friendship may take years to build up.

But, all it takes is a mere text message to have it demolished before your very eyes.

Could this be the natural order of things?

Or just a mishap brought about by humans?

For in our trek for power we simply eradicate all that stand in our way.

Is this why we found it much more simple to destroy rather than construct?

And after all these years we haven't tried to level the playing field.

Instead we continue to let destruction tighten it's grasp on the universe.

Perhaps one day it will be easier to build a wall than to knock it down.

However, until that day comes destruction will continue, to wreak havoc on the world
