Chapter 8

*Skip to leaving the hospital*

*Ethans POV*

Jake came back at night, but we wouldn't let him see Y/N. She was asleep so she had no idea what was going on. The nurses and doctors kept asking if it was okay for him to come see her and me and Gray thought it would be a bad idea. I know it's a long shot for Y/N to ever like me or for me to get a shot with her, but I felt like if Jake was there, she would never acknowledge me and she wouldn't know the real me bc I can't act myself around Jake anymore.

*Time Skip*

I'm awake all night, I can't sleep, I'm too cold in my bed without Ethan. He was so warm and comforting. I was lying down facing the wall, not the door, so the Twins didn't know I was up. They thought I was asleep, I kept hearing Jake and the twins argue. Jake wanted to see me so bad. I felt horrible but I was too tired to speak to him or to get up. No matter how tired I was, I couldn't go to sleep without Ethans arms wrapped around me.

*Grays POV*

I knew Y/N wasn't asleep but I didnt want to bother Ethan with it. He was having enough trouble sleeping on his own and dealing with Jake. I didn't want him to worry about Y/N even though I know she's all he has been worrying about. I see Y/N move, I really want to go talk to her, bc ik she likes Ethan. She calmed down in E's arms instantly. She fell asleep with his arms around her, whenever they look at eachother, you can just see the light in her eyes. But then that made me realize something. The day Y/N flinched away from Jake I saw hurt in his eyes, and before that, I saw....love. Were Jake and E falling for the same girl...oh no this isn't going to end well. Especially bc Y/N just joined team 10 and I know she likes E. Jake probably wanted to visit her to tell her how he feels. I kinda feel bad now, but Bros before well...Jake...
