Lost and Found

Once upon a time when the war between two greatest ruler of the sea , King Okeanos from Pacifica and King Atlas from Atlantos become too unbearable. Queen Omorfia decided for her self to help her husband , risking her life for the battle.

She told the servants of the palace to take care of her five years old daughter while she's doing her duty. There was a hard feeling when she stared at those big blue eyes and red hairs that started to grow longer as her daughter , Eirene , got older.

"Mother ,Where aw ya going ?".Asked the little sea nymph , full of innocent ,never worry about anything in the world . If she sad she'll cry , if she happy she'll laugh that's a simplicity of a child , all they care enough is just a hug from their parents. Never in that age ,little Eirene thought something bad will come. Her world was full of bright colors , it would be end soon though once she becomes an adult , she just will look like everyone else. Worrying, that something we less expected will happen in the future.

That's what queen Omorfia didn't want , for her daughter to be like everyone else. Living an expected life that even make it feels heavy day by day. No , Eirene wouldn't be like that. Not just because she is a princess but also because she is her daughter , Omorfia would even block a spear just to protect her daughter. Just to see that smile and see Eirene live a life how she wanted it to be.

"Eirene dear..".The queen took her daughter on her laps. She rubbed the little red head on her hair thinking; Oh it could be sweet if got to spend my time with you more. I'm a very bad mother to ever live you , I gave up into my own selfishness and curiosity and end up sacrificing your need for a presence of a mother. I am the worst , but I will engulfed in regret if I never see you have that smile again , or watching you grew up , even from a distance of the unknown.

"I will help your father honey..".She hugged the little girl almost tightly, oh it could be a lot easier when she still a baby , where she still cannot talk or making a spiral on the end of the Queen's hair."He needs me..".She closed her eyes , enjoying the sweet fragrance from the red hair.

"If you want...to...hewp father. Thannn..you shod do it quickly.".Eirene curled her mother's hair more , it even started to tied on her finger tightly. She could feel a warm vibrate when the queen hummed on top of her head.

"Yes , my dear. I will , but let me enjoy my time with you for awhile."

Eirene looked up to her mother , though she still couldn't pinpoint what was that supposed to mean. Her mother sounded a little bit weird , like she wouldn't come back for a long time."Buuuutttt..you ..will come back , right mother ?".How come Omorfia could resisted the adorable blue eyes full of hopes in front of her, almost identical with hers only it still brighter for the young Iris. The queen wished that she could gave her daughter a promise to come back and hug her again tightly. But this is war , everything could happen in the battle. The outcome and the process was unpredictable , she could go home in victory or end up wandering around the unknown.

Though it was really really hard for her to leave and never said a promise for coming back. This time , she let her self do lies for the sake of her daughter."Of course , I will. Even if I didn't , I'll try to be in your heart forever.".A tear dropped , Eirene could feel it. She couldn't even ask why , it should be her to cry not her mother, cause she will leave for awhile leaving her with some servants who didn't even let Eirene swam with another inhabitants of Pacifica.

Eirene really want to cry , she didn't know why , her feeling said it will be the last time for her to see her mother and feel her embrace. She really wanted to burst ,her mother will go without her , the negative thoughts running through her mind.

She really want to cry.

Then Queen Omorfia sweetly humming again on top of her head. It reduced the feeling of sadness and wanting to cry of Eirene , she felt comfort all of sudden , fading the thoughts of not going to ever see her mother anymore.
