Chapter 15

Louis's p.o.v

"Louis I have to tell you something". Harry whispers.

"What"? I ask.

"Come on let me tell you at the lake". He says. We walk to the lake and as we walk he tells me the story of how he was a shield to Niall and Valerie. Once we get down to the water he says. "Alright are you ready"?

"Yes I am". I say. He splashes the water and I expect to fall but it freezes in the air. Harry pokes it and I falls back into the water. I look at him like he is crazy.

"I don't know how I can do this. But you got to admit it's pretty cool". Harry says.

"I don't under stand. You could never do this before". I say. Harry shrugs and then his face lights up.

"Maybe you have powers Louis"! Harry says. I think, what if I did have powers.

Then I hear something. But it's not like speaking it's like in my brain.

"He probably won't have powers poor lad". Harry says... or thinks.

"Hey that wasn't very nice"! I say.

"I didn't say anything"! Harry says.

"Yeah but you thought it. I heard you think it"! I say.

"Wait... what"? Harry says. Then I think what did I just say.

"I heard what you were thinking"! I say.

"To put it to the test what am I thinking about now"? Harry asks. I think deeply and see a picture of Camryn and him kidding before my eyes.

"You and Camryn kissing". I say.

"You weren't supposed to see that I was trying to think of something else". Harry says. "WHAT AM I SAYING I JUST FOUND OUT MY LAD CAN READ MINDS"!

"Harry shut up they might hear you"! I say.

"Why don't you want them to know"? Harry asks.

"Well why are you only telling me about your powers". I ask.

"Because my powers are scary". He says.

"No they are not they are cool and they save people". I say.

"I just don't want Camryn to know just yet". Harry says.

"Okay we will keep each other's secrets". I say. "And if you wanna tell you can tell and me the same".

"Perfect". Harry says. We walk back to camp and I focus on reading minds.

"God I wish he would make a move". Abbie thinks. She is looking at Liam.

"What I wouldn't do for some pizza". Zayn thinks. I laugh quietly to myself. This is golden. Then I look to Emily.

"He is finally back. Look at that sweet smile I don't deserve him". She thinks. I grin at her but feel bad that she feels that way. I walk over to her and hold her hand.

"Good morning Louis". Emily says.

"It's an even better morning now". I say. She smiles and kisses my cheek.

"God I love him so much". She thinks.

"I love you Emily". I whisper in her ear.

"I love you too". She says sounding surprised.

"I know it was a bit random but I had to say it". I say.

"That's really sweet". She saws.

"Oh just make out already"! Abbie says.

"Later". I whisper and Emily's ear.

"Why can't later be now". She thinks.

It's now later. Wow that sentence makes since. I walk out side and light a candle. She comes out and we realize for once we are alone. I grab on to her hips and start kissing her. She run her fingers in my hair and on my to my chest.

"You are a great kisser". I say. She giggles and kisses my neck. "I feel like I don't deserve you".

"Of course not! If anything I don't deserve you"! She says. "I mean your Louis Tomlinson of One Direction. And I'm Emily Thompson from Maine". She says.

"You are one of the best things that's ever happened to me"! I say. "Okay"?

"Okay". She says. I smile and we continue kissing. After about ten more minutes we stop and breath and get some water.

"Louis I have to be honest with you or this relationship won't be complete. I have never had a boy friend before". She says.

"Lucky me". I say. Then I think about how I am not telling her the truth about my powers. "I have to tell you something too but it's worse then that".

"What is Louis"? Emily asks. I take her hand.

"I can read minds". I say. She laughs and looks at me see's I'm not laughing and stops.

"No way your kidding". She says.

"I'm not kidding". I say. She crosses her arms.

"Okay then what am I thinking of"? She asks. I concentrate and look at her. I see her and a girl maybe two years younger then her talking and laughing watching fire works.

"You and a little girl watching fire works while talking and laughing". I say. She gasps.

"So you really can"!? She says. I nod.

"But you have to keep it a secret". I say.

"Of course! No problem". She says.

"Great"! I say.

"Great"! She says. There is an awkward silence until I push her up against a tree and proceed with kissing her.
