"Okay, I see how it is, Y/N."

Your eyes lit up. He understood now, right?
Wrong.

"I should've known you still wanted to be with Ken."

"Michael, it's not like-" You muttered, but was interrupted by him walking away.

"Sorry for bothering you all this time, Y/N."

Your heart was crushed. You couldn't bear your heart breaking one more time. Not again. Put up a fight.

"Michael!" You yelled, but to no use. A waste of energy.

"I'm done with you, Y/N. Sorry."

You tried to chase after him, but you were too broken to even do anything. Instead, you just slumped onto the floor and cried.

Ken beside you felt terrible. I shouldn't have been here in the first place.
He reached out a hand to you and helped you get up. He slowly got you to walk out the school with no questions asked.

"Y/N, we're skipping school for the day."

You had no energy to even say anything, so you let him.

(timeskip and also an excuse to be lazy)

He took you to your house. I want a pov change. Can i have that next chapter?

He painstakingly explained everything, but your mom didn't quite get how you allowed Ken to even get close to you.

"It's alright mom,"
You said with most energy you could even muster.

"We're good now."

She allowed Ken to come in eventually.

You walked to your room and weakly laid on it. You have no more energy for anything anymore.

He mumbled something under his breath. mumbled is a funny word

You let out a small "Mm?" He dismissed the fact he was even saying anything. "Ah, no, nothing, nevermind.." "You were saying something." You said in a blunt voice. He sighed. "No, forget about it." "You can tell me anything." You assured him.

"It's just that, I feel guilty for all this. Nothing would've happened if I weren't in your way. I'm sorry."

You somehow found yourself in shock. You immediately scrambled to hug him on the other side of the bed. You held him in your arms with all the energy you had.

"Don't feel bad for something you didn't cause." (i need to start following my own advice hahahaha)

He didn't say anything, but he did lay his head on yours. His eyes slumped. His arms fell and rested.

"Thanks."
