Y/N and Michael were hanging out at the park, as pals do. They were enjoying life as usual. They were at the park for a reason. It was the anniversary of the day they met. They weren't together or anything, it was their friendversary.

They went to multiple other places before the park such as getting ice cream, the theater, and a cafe.

You were both having fun, but soon came the time to leave. You both waved bye and parted ways. You were walking across the road, smiling until..

You were hit by a car.

You fell to the ground, unconscious. Michael wasn't too far away from you, so he immediately noticed you were hit.

"Y/N!" He ran as fast as he could to you. He tried to wake you up, but you couldn't move. You could hear his cries but they were fainting away. You really wanted to let him know you were alive, but had no energy to.

He gave up. It was no use, you were dead. "It's all over now." He said. Tears slowly poured out his eyes. He let them. Usually he would try to hide them, but he didn't care anymore. He let them fall. Some of them fell on you. He crouched down and fell into pure sorrow. He didn't want anything but you back.

He sobbed harder than he ever had in his life. He took deep breaths to calm himself down, but nothing ever worked.

"Y/N,"

"I'm sorry I never told you."

"All this time,"

"I thought you would never leave"

"But you did,"

"I never told you but,"

He choked on his words. He couldn't bear to say it.

"I love you"

The car driver finally came out. She was a female driver who looked to be around your age.

She got behind Michael and tapped his back. He hasn't even noticed her until now.

He turned around with tears still in his face. He couldn't bear to look at anyone right now.

The female whispered in his ear,

"April fools."

Before he could say anything, Y/N rose up and hugged him. He was in pure shock right now. He couldn't process what was happening right now. First his best friend gets hit by a car, he confesses and now she's hugging him!? This was too much to comprehend.

Y/N softly said, "I love you too"
