Chapter 25 - Our First Fight

I arrived at Emma's place at around 2pm. I thanked the driver and paid him. I walked to the man at the front desk and asked him to keep my luggage for now since I didn't have the key to Emma's place. He agreed and I left to go find some food to eat. I checked my phone to see a reply from Kristen:

Alright but please hurry and solve this issue. Don't make it longer than three days. We need you back here for rehearsals ASAP.

I replied back saying that I'd try my best. I finished my lunch half an hour later and walked back to her apartment. It was 3pm by the time I got there. I thanked the man at the desk and went up the elevator. I tried not to think of the article but I was extremely angry. I made my way to her front door and sat down. I was going to wait for either Emma or Sophie to come home and unlock their door so I could get in.

I sat down on the ground and stretched my legs. I started reading the article as I was waiting for one of the girls to go back to their flat. The article read: 

'Is the innocent Emma Watson not so innocent?'

The blazing newcomer in the modelling industry Emma Watson, 20, has been dating singer Harry Styles, 20, from One Direction. They've been looking very in love and looked like they had been going strong for the last four months. That all changed when Harry left to start his Where We Are Tour with his other band members Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik.

Emma Watson has always been very friendly with her Burberry model partner Douglas Booth. We all felt that they would date one day but Emma denied it a year ago saying "No no…” she starts laughing “Doug and I are just really good friends". That must've crushed some people's shipping hearts.

But she was seen getting cosy with Douglas Booth, 21, last Sunday as they went to the local park together. They were seen hand-holding and cuddling with each other as they walked down the streets of downtown LA. Of course there was no lip locking but it seems very suspicious to have two very close friends acting extremely intimate like this.

There were pictures on the side of Emma with Douglas and they sure looked comfortable in each other's embraces... a little too comfortable. If you didn't know who they were, they looked like a couple that was very in love with each other. I clenched my fists and was getting ready to rip the article to shreds when I heard the elevator doors open. 

I was hoping that it was Emma but at the same time, I didn't want it to be her. I didn't want to find out that she was cheating on me already! I hadn't even thought of a starting line. What was I supposed to say? Have you been cheating on me with your lifelong friend Douglas Booth?

Thankfully it wasn't her but the woman looked at me strangely and turned the other way to her apartment. I guess this was a good opportunity to think about what to say to Emma when I saw her.

I checked my watch to see what time it was. It read 4:45pm. I was still busy thinking of coming up with conversation starters. My legs were starting to get tired from the position that it was in. I was about to get up but stopped halfway through this action as I heard the elevator 'ding'. 

The person stepped out and it was Emma. She looked at me with shock which turned into a smile and asked "What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be on the plane to England?"

I stood up and composed myself, making sure that my clothes looked alright. "I need you to explain something to me"

"And it can't be done on Skype or something?"

"No, it has to be face to face"

She looked at me with a questioning look but proceeded to unlock her door. She opened it and she walked inside with me trailing behind her. Her living room was right next to the door as soon as you walked in. There was a kitchen near the windows that overlooked the city. A long hallway was next to a kitchen that lead to a bathroom and two bedrooms, one of which being Emma's.
