Chapter 8

~~~~~~Nikki's POV~~~~~~

I woke up to someone shaking me to wake up.

"Nix... Nix... *tic*" It sounded like Toby.

"Hmmm?" I mumbled.

"It's already 12:00 of the afternoon." I sat up straight and looked at him wide eyed.

"You serious? I've slept through my alarm clock?" He was chuckling at me.

"Just kidding." He chuckled. "It's only 8 am." I hit him with my pillow.

"I hate you!" I said in a childish voice and flopped back on the bed.

"Come on! Get up! Slendy's already cooking the waffles." He complained. I sat up again and looked at him dully.

"Ugh! Fine." I kicked off the covers and followed Toby downstairs. As we entered, I didn't know me and Toby are holding hands as the guys were chuckling.

"Your up early." Ben said.

"I didn't expect you and the other gamers to be back already."

"Not that much people were playing." Sonic grumbled.

"Hehe, your wearing one of Toby's hoodies." Red chuckled.

"I'm an insomniac. I thought wearing one of hoodies would help me sleep." I rubbed my eyes as I yawned.

"Man your a mess." I rolled my eyes.

"Thanks for the compliment Jack. Mr twitchy here dragged me out of bed." I combed my hair back with my hand as I sat down. Everyone chuckled.

"Why are you guys in such a good mood?" I asked. Masky handed me his video camera. I looked at him confusingly.

"This is what Ben took last night." I took the camera and played it. It was when Toby kissed me. I blushed as I shoved it back to Masky and burried my face in my hands as everyone was laughing.

"Not funny you guys." I glared at them. "By the way did you delete the video Ben took when I was changing my pants a few day ago?"

"Of course I did. I'm not making my video camera into a porn taker!"

"Good." I leaned my head on the palm of my hand as Slendy served the food. As we eat, mood began to brighten, thank goodness.

"Hey Slendy, when am I going back to school? I miss learning."

"Actually I was thinking about that. But not just you. I was thinking about sending all of you to school."

"What?" Everyone except me, Sally, and Erica, said in unison.

"Yay!" Me, Sally, and Erica said in unison. They guys looked at us dully.

"Why do we have to go back to school?" Jack complained.

"Because. I'm making you all feel how it's like to be human again, and so that I can have some peace and quiet around here for once." Slendy facedpalmed himself.

"So when will we start school?" I asked.

"Next week Monday. It's not that far from now anyways. You'll all be taking the bus to your designated school, which for Sally and Erica they'll be going to Green Meadow Middle school while the rest of you will be going to Oakhurst High School." The guys sighed. Man what up with them about school? It's not that bad.

"But wait! How about my appearance? The entire school knows that I'm missing, how am I suppose to go to school without being sent to foster home or adoption thing?"

"I have a kind of magic that can change your appearance when your in public while being in lonely places it fades. So it's not much of a problem, same with the rest of you." I nodded and resume eating.

After breakfast, I went out into the woods to walk around a bit. Being in the mansion for weeks makes me feel nauseated. I love being outside and running free like a wild animal. I started to walk and then broke into a run. I jump high and landed on a tree branch and jumped from branch to branch like a monkey. Then I stopped to find a bunch of teenagers like my age camping. They somehow looked familiar as if I've seen them from somewhere.

I focused my eyes to find my best friends Jaina and Hayley with a bunch of other people with them. I slowly climbed down from the tree and hid in the bushes that is close to them

"Okay so here's the plan. We're going to look around this forest to look for Nikki. By sunset, if no one finds her, we all come back here and search again tomorrow." It's Hayley's voice. I can't let them search the forest. They'll get killed by the guys. I put up my hoodie to where my face can't be seen and made sure my axes are on both of my sides. Lucky Toby's hoodie is huge. I step put from behind the trees and walked towards them, looking at the ground to hide my face and with my hands in the pockets of the jacket.

"W-who are y-you?" Jaina stuttered. I'm sure she's afriad.

"Get out of the forest. What your doing will only lead you to your deaths." I tried to make my voice deep and unrecognizeable. "Heave my words and get out of here as fast as you can before they come."

"Too late." It's Jeff's voice. He jumped down from the tree and was about to slash at Jaina until I defended her and his knife went into my left shoulder.

"Jeff don't!" I yelled. "You guys! Don't you dare!"

"Nix?" Jaina and Hayley said in unison. I sighed and put my hoodie down. Their eyes widen and attacked me with their hugs.

"Ahh guys easy with my shoulder." I said as they let go of me.

"Where have you been? We thought you were dead! Why didn't you call us at least?" Jaina said.

"Because. It's for your sakes." I said. They looked at me with confused looks. Jack and Masky jumped out of the bushes as I raised my hand and caught them with my telekinetic powers and threw them to the side. Jaina and Hayley were shocked.

"How did you?"

"It's something I've finally mastered." Toby jumped out behind and I took my axes as it collied. "Toby don't." I begged. He put his hatchets to his sides and just stood there.

"You guys have to leave. Promise me that my appearance to you guys is secret. And them." They both nodded and hugged me one last time.

"We're just glad to see you alive and well." Jaina said and they both walked off. I smiled as I turned to the guys and glared at them. Jack and Masky on the ground as Jeff is pinned to the tree with his knife and Toby standing behind me.

"They're my best friend too. So don't you dare kill them or else I'm gonna kill any of you." I growled and everyone nodded.

"They're not worth killing anyways." Jack got up from the ground and dusted himself and helped Masky up.

"Let's head back to the mansion. I feel in the mood of doing nothing but lay around. But first get me down from here." Jeff said as Masky pulled the knife from the tree.

"We'll catch u-up. Nix *tic* and I n-need to talk. *tic*" Toby said. I looked at him confusingly.

"Well see ya." As they all left, it only leaves me and Toby.
