Chapter 10

~~~~~~Toby's POV~~~~~~

Last night was fun, but now I have to be friends with mortals by going to school. I woke up to find Nix not by my side. I guess she's so excited to go back to school. I got out of bed and head to showers. Then I saw some clothes on my bed with a note on it.

"You can't wear your killing clothes so I got you some regular teenage boy clothes, well even though your like a 5 years older than me. -Nixnix"

I chuckled and put on the clothes. I wore a white tshirt with a gray skull design on the front, black jeans, a black hoodie jacket from yesterday, and black and white converse shoes. As I walked out of my room, Nikki was leaning on her door. She's wearing a white tshirt with a blue marpho butterfly design, black skirt, and black/white/pink converse shoes. She's wearing her regular glasses over her now green eyes, her long now brown hair was put back by a white headband, and a necklace with a N on it.

"Like the clothes?" She giggled.

"Yeah." I leaned towards her kissed her on the lips until we heard a click.

"Awwwwww so cute." Masky chuckled. I rolled my eyes and took a step away from her. Nix was giggling as I held her hand and went downstairs. Everyone is in normal clothing and I'm seeing someone who was suppose to be gone for a few more days but decide to come back sooner, Jane, Nina, and Clockworks.

"Hey Toby. I see your with the new girl." Jane teased. I rolled my eyes. We ate breakast and head to a nearby bus stop. There were some other kids too like popular people and just regular ones. A blonde chick came up to me.

"I never seen you here before." Her voice sound sedusive but that will never work on me. "Your new here?" I just nodded and tried to ignore her. She had her arms around my neck as I try to push her away. "Oh come on! Don't fight it!" She giggled.

"Bitch you just made a wrong move!" She was ripped away from me and fell on the ground. I look up to see Nix as the girl stood up again.

"What did you just call me slut?" The blonde growl.

"You didn't hear me?" Nix said in a sweet voice and then an aggressive voice. "I said your a bitch." The blonde tried to grab at Nix but she ducked and tripped the blonde and fell face first. She grabbed her hair and pull it up.

"Stay away from my boyfriend if you don't want to die!" Nix growled and shoved the blonde back down and walked towards me as I wrapped my arm around her and chuckled.

"Dayum Nix." Ben chuckled and gave her a high five. He's wearing a green tshirt with a controller on it, navy blue jeans, and white sneakers. His eyes are green of course and his blonde hair in a messy look.

"Yeah we're going to be needing you to keep us away from the girls." Jack laughed. As the bus came, we all sat in the back, since we don't want to socialize with the mortals.

~~~~~~Nikki's POV~~~~~~

It wasn't much of a bad ride, girls kept looking at the guys except of course Toby and the guys aren't so happy about it. I got my class schedule and head to my first class, english. I pretty much knew everything that my teacher Mrs. Robinson said I can linger the hall until the bell rings.

I miss this place and yet I can start all over again and change from sensitive Nikki Williams to cool nerdy Andrea Parks, well I have to change my name so yeah. I head to my locker to get my books for science class, which the bell will ring in five minutes.

Lunch came and I sat down with the guys in circle table away from the other students. Ben, Jack, Masky, and Jeff kept on complaining on how girls were flirting with them, well its odd for Ben because he always like to pervert girls but I never seen him complain about them. Hoodie pretty much is just quiet and depress as usual that he doesn't even notice the girls flirting with him. Nina, Jane, and Clockworks kept on talking about my other ex boyfriend John saying how hot he is and stuff.

"Girls he used to be my boyfriend and believe me he is not worth talking about." I sighed. "He's a son of a bitch for all I can say." Everyone continued talking in their own conversation until someone came up to us.

"Mind if I sit with you guys?" A girl with brunette hair and grey eyes asked. She's wearing a pink tshirt with flowers all over it, denim mini skirt, and black flats. Everyone exchanged looks, but most of them is a no.

"Sorry but there's no seats left." Jeff said rudely. She girl frowned and was about to walk away until I stopped her.

"Wait there's a empty seat next to Jack." I pointed to the chair with Jack's shoulder bag is on. Jack sighed and removed his bag as the girl sat next to him. As we got to know her, her name is Kayla and she's a used to be popular girl until her friends ditched her. She's not much of a bad person. She and Jack kept talking a lot and I think there's going to be a spark of love in there.

Next class is music class. I didn't have an instument so they gave me a violin for me to keep for the entire school year. Of course I know how to play the violin, it's just that I'm not used to playing in front of people.
