It was an ordinary summer day at Song Jiyoo's home in Seoul, Korea.

Jiyoo was a very unique girl, she was kind and always cheerful.

But life wasn't the same towards her.

Ever since she was young she would spend most of her time by herself. Either at home or at school.

Her parents were always busy. They both owned very successful business'.

Jiyoo grew up in a very wealthy family. Both parents are very successful businessmen and women. But because of that, she was always alone.

When she wanted to cry, her maid was there to comfort her.

When she got hurt, her maid was there to cure her.

When she was heartbroken, her maid was there to heal her broken heart.

But never her parents. She was lucky she lived in a great home with everything she wanted.

But there was one thing she could never have.

Which was the love from her family? Jiyoo was the only child of the Song family. She never really had many friends in school, but at least she wasn't bullied.

Jiyoo was a beautiful girl, with long brown hair, and hazel brown eyes, something you don't see commonly among Koreans.

Her mother was English, she was born in America, but moved to Korea at a very young age as her mother was a Korean. But the father was American.

But on the other hand, Hayoon's father was Korean as well. He lived most of his life in Korea.

Her family was fine, she got everything she ever wished for. But just not her family's attention and love. But she still stayed happy and cherished what she had.

But everything came crashing down.

A few years ago Jiyoo's parents were admitted to the hospital after a car accident between a drunk driver.

Unfortunately, her parents didn't make it and they both passed.

Jiyoo was devastated, just like that she lost her only family.

Her parent's fame and fortune were all given to her. She stayed in her family's estate. But by herself.

She had let all her maids and butlers go home. Now that she was the only one living there she thought it wasn't needed. And would be a waste of money. Even though she had billions to spend.

She was never a spoilt girl, she was never mean, never bratty. She was the perfect girl. But her life wasn't as perfect.

All she wished for was a family that would take care of her, be with her. And protect her.
