It was an ordinary day, so far.
Jiyoo was getting ready to head to bed. It has been 3 years since her parents passed. She's been living by herself since then. No maids no butlers. Just herself.
She would wake up early in the morning,
get ready,
make breakfast,
eat breakfast,
head to school,
come home,
make dinner,
eat dinner,
do homework/study,
watch some tv,
then head to bed.
But she did help an old lady cross the street today. Jiyoo always had a heart of gold. Caring for others before herself. It's just how she chose to live her life. But then after that, her day was pretty much like every other day nothing different. She thought, not knowing what was going to happen.
She was about to head to bed when she heard the doorbell go off.
Who could that be, this late in the day? She thought to herself.
She slipped on her slippers and slightly ran down the spiral stairs and into the main foyer.
She went up to the brown wood door and looked through the peephole.
But there was nothing.
Weird, she thought before opening up the door.
To an unexpected surprise.
