Jungkook's P.O.V.
I sat there, looking out into the window as raindrops slid down against the glass screen. Me and Taehyung's hands intertwined with each other, calmly breathing into the same air that we shared.
Me and Taehyung spent our weekend at Jin and Namjoon's house. Hoseok soon came over with Jimin and Yoongi. We all had a good time, always smiling and laughing. It was nice. But now, Taehyung and I are back at my apartment. It's early in the morning before school starts.
We both sat on my bed, watching the rain fall against the glass. I was sitting between Taehyung's legs, his arms wrapped around my waist and his chin resting on my shoulder. So many thoughts were going across my mind. So many questions, too.
Like... I mean what are we? Between me and Taehyung, what am I to him? I'm probably just a friend to him but isn't this what couples do? Does he even like me? Why are we so close to each other. Couples sleep with each other, but me and Taehyung do that also...
"Jungkookie..." Taehyung suddenly said. I squeezed his hand in response. "We should... we should really tell someone about the bullying. I mean, I don't even know if that's called bullying anymore. Bullying is like calling someone else names and making others feel weak. But... in your condition it's like... they're beating you up. They're threatening you, like someone literally tried to kill you! This is major, Jungkook. We have to do something about this... we have to report the situation to the principal..."
I didn't know what to say to that. For the longest time, I've never wanted to tell any adult about the bullies. I never wanted to get others involved either. I didn't know why, I was just scared of what they might do to me. But... I guess the nurse knows about everything now. I've been wanting help for the longest time ever. I always wanted the bullying to stop.
"Please... Kookie. We have your back." Taehyung said softly, his breath hitting against my neck. I shivered from his deep voice. I closed my eyes and let out a sigh. Maybe it is time to stop it all. I nodded and felt Taehyung tighten his arms around my waist.
"Don't worry... we're here for you. You have everyone here to protect you, so don't be afraid anymore." I nodded at his words. "Okay... hey Kookie." Taehyung voice seemed to become hesitate. I looked to my side and saw Taehyung looking at me in the eyes.
"Jungkook... I..." Taehyung began. My hopes began to rise again. Half of my mind was beginning to assume that he was confessing to me right now, but the other half told me not to believe in such things. "... Jungkookie I... I love-" Taehyung's phone rang, crushing my hopes and possibly my dreams. I felt a sharp pain in my heart and doubt flew throughout my veins. Taehyung groaned in annoyance and looked at the caller's ID. It was Jimin.
"Hey Chim, what's up?" he answered. "Nothing much. Yoongi and I just wanted to make sure that you and Jungkook are doing okay." I heard Jimin say from the other side of the line.
"We're both fine. Why, you worried?" Taehyung asked with a smile. "Nah, we just wanted to check up on you since... well Jungkook almost died. Anyway, we were wondering if we could all hang out after class at some place Yoongi found. He said the lamb skewers there are awesome. The 'family's' gonna be there." Jimin explained. Taehyung looked at me if I was okay if I wanted to go, and I smiled and nodded since I loved lamb skewers.
"That'll be great Chimmy. By the way, Jungkook and I actually decided that it's about time to report the bullies." Taehyung suddenly said. I froze until I heard a squeal of joy on the other side of line. "Yas! It's about time you reported them, Jungkookie!" Jimin yelled. I heard Yoongi scoff from the background.
