Behind those distant eyes
There lies a longing cry
For a touch and a moment in the flesh
With the goddess of his racing heart
In a world of distant hopes and bliss
This hunger screams for sin
To lick the sacred soothe from her skin
Burning away in this euphoric moment of time
His life would turn to nothing
But he wouldn't care
Because his life was nothing
As he wished to be someone
Burning away in this demonic moment of time
Her life would turn to nothing
But she wouldn't care
Because her life was something
As she wished so to belong
Praying for her touch, yet he was nobody
Crying for her heart, which belongs to somebody
So if he wasted this one life
There's no way he is leaving this tomb
And bury himself in this womb
Since he would tear from its core
This funeral flower in bloom
And when she smiled at him
With an innocent gaze
He kept inside all of this
So he could see her glory days
At the verge of this lonely night
Behind those distant eyes.
