Love for the costume parties

Maya's POV
I have had enough of costume parties but Riley wants to take me to this one, Idk why, some fucked up reason. Oh yes...she wants to be popular because costume parties have popular people, and guess what? Josh is coming, I mean that's nice and all but I just don't wanna go, he's wearing that incredible costume with the black mask, red sticky suit and rolled up hair, funny.........and so hot...
So here I am sitting and touching up Riley's Dorothy make up, I am wearing a black shorts and ripped denim jacket 'cause idgaf about this party and I don't wear costumes.
"Let's go." Riley squeaked.
"Why is it that you wanna go so much?" I whined
"First- Lucas will kiss me definitely in the seven minutes in heaven game or TDS, second it makes us popular!" Riley squealed and I rolled my eyes like usual

20 minutes later

"You look good josh." I smiled at him as we sat in a circle
"It's Lucas, josh is that." The brown haired cowboy pointed at mister josh who was next to Riley.
Lucas and josh are wearing the same costume, same. That is so cliché
Josh looked up at me removing his mask he gave me a wink, I blushed, then gardener climbed on the table in the middle and started.
"We'll play ruêr âi dös." Charlie Gardner yelled above all
"What's that?" Farkle said loudly
"Well for starters it's a kissing game, we choose two people, and let them alone in the middle room, they kiss we rejoice. But the twist is, girls will be in the right room and boys will be on the left so no one will know which partner is coming, and uh- the kissing will be in the middle room." Charlie laughed, I clapped with the others
"Now girls stay here and boys follow me." Charlie said again and with a chitter chatter everyone started clearing out, one thing which was stupid yet caught my eye was Lucas had the incredible 'i' while josh didn't. Who cares?
The game went on, those who passed the middle room kissed and then went to the pool just for the continuation of the party, finally Darby yelled my name, Riley is not chosen yet.
"Maya." She smiled, I smiled back and went in the middle room, it was small, purple and cozy, I kept looking around but tbh I was nervous  when the door in front of me opened revealing josh, his incredibles costume blazing. Josh is practically my dream. Now I like this party
"Josh." I whispered not loud enough for him to hear, he walked close and so did I.
Once we were inches apart it was josh who leaned in, fear crept my belly as I leaned in too, and I kissed him. The fireworks the perfect kiss was all in place, it was all so good to be true. Just imagine your Prince Charming kissing you? Our lips locking perfectly and staying still in place, my hand around his neck and his around me waist pulling me into his chest.
Slowly our lips parted, our foreheads still touched.
"Wow josh that was..." I smiled, wiping away my forehead which luckily didn't have a mask, I am all maya.
"Josh?" He said in a raspy voice, it sounded like a question, what?
My eyes travelled downwards when it caught that beautifully shining incredibles 'i' on his costume.
The one Lucas wore and josh didn't.
