Chapter 10: She Hates You

Sitting in this damn waiting room for three hours. Three fucking hours.

I found Mya passed out on a bench in a neighborhood that I was way too familiar with. I had been there too many time to count.

"Where the fuck is she?!" I heard someone yell to the receptionist. I voice that I wasn't happy to hear, Mya's pops.

"Sir, you can't go in there. Please sit in the waiting room until the doctor is ready to speak to you." She politely said. He argued with the lady, before reluctantly sitting down in the waiting room. While he hadn't seen me yet, Mya's mama came over to me and hugged, I told her what I knew about Mya's situation.

Mr. Williams finally looked up at me. "You! You son of a bitch! You did this to my daughter!" He yelled. But this time, I'd had enough.

"No, I didn't to shit to Mya. You did! Your too busy stalking her and installing cameras in her room, that you don't even realize how much she fuckin' hates yo ass. She hates you 'cause you hate me. She hates you 'cause you don't give her no privacy. She hates you 'cause your too fuckin' overprotective. She hates you 'cause you made her choose between me and you. And she chose me ova yo' old ass." I said. I know it was a little rude, but I don't give a shit 'cause he is disrespectful as hell.

He didn't say anything after that 'cause he knew I was right.

"Family of Mya Williams." the doctor said. All of us stood up, and Mr. Williams glared at me. "Mya had a large amount of Flunitrazepam in her system." He said. I was confused as shit, I don't know what that big ass word meant. "In other words, someone slipped some roofies in her drink. You can visit her, but only one at a time, she asked to speak to someone named August."

I looked over at Mr. Williams and smiled knowing that he was pissed. I walked down the hallway and into Mya's room.

"Hi," She said.

"Who did this to you?" I said getting straight to the point.

"I don't know. I don't remember anything that happened."

After talking to Mya for at least two hours just to piss Mr. Williams off, I finally left.

I was going to find out who did this, but I can't right now, I have to go to work.

Why did Mya tell August that she didn't know who drugged her?

Is August going to find out that Marcus drugged Mya?
