i throw rocks at jeongguk's window and taehyung groans.
"this is not going to work." taehyung says.
"just watch." i say, still throwing the tiny rocks.
"shit." i say, "this is not going to work."
"wow, jeongguk going to be even more pissed if he sees us throwing rocks at his window. what's worse is if his mom hears, she's going to call the cops on us thinking we're fucking robbers." taehyung says.
"oh my god, shut up. i think i hear him." i say and i shush him.
"we're going to get caught." taehyung says and he smacks his forehead.
i see jeongguk and i shout, "jeongguk!"
jeongguk gasps and his eyes widen. tears threaten his eyes but he wipes them. he suddenly disappears from his window which leaves taehyung and i confused.
"he hates us." taehyung says, "he's going to tell his mom."
"no, jeongguk wouldn't do that." i say.
"how do you know?" taehyung says.
"i think i know what he's doing. come with me." i say and i take taehyung's hand.
"wait, no! what?" taehyung says and i run to his doorstep, crouching down.
"don't stand there like an idiot you are! hide!" i say and taehyung sits next to me.
"mom, i think a package came!" jeongguk yells, hearing him faintly.
jeongguk opens the door and i grin. jeongguk puts a finger on his lips and opens the door.
"come quick!" jeongguk whispers.
taehyung and i run into jeongguk's house. jeongguk's mom is too distracted by the tv and the lights were out so she didn't notice us at all.
"was there anything?" jeongguk's mom says.
"no! i'm going to bed, now." i say and jeongguk's mom hums.
taehyung and i follow jeongguk into his room and jeongguk's tears appear on his waterline again. jeongguk tightly hugs me and i wrap my arms around his neck.
"jeongguk.." i say and jeongguk sobs.
"i'm sorry for saying those t–things. i'm sorry, i'm sorry, i'm sorry. i knew you'd come back for me, i knew it in my heart, min. you'd come back for me, right?" jeongguk says.
"of course, guk. i came back for you." i say and i pat his back.
"i'm sorry for not considering your feelings for yoongi. i understand if he makes you happy and you make him happy. he was just going to play me anyways, i took advantage of that. well, i thought i had a chance but deep inside i knew i didn't." jeongguk says, "you can date yoongi, do whatever you want. i'm happy for you and if he breaks your heart, let him know taehyung and i will come for him."
i chuckle and i say, "don't worry, i'm just playing yoongi to get revenge."
"really?" jeongguk says and he gasps.
"yeah, it was taehyung's idea." i say, "i think it's taehyung's turn now."
i back away and taehyung shyly, looks away from jeongguk.
"you came back for me too. i knew you would." jeongguk says and hugs taehyung.
taehyung jolts in surprise and debates wether to hug jeongguk back or not.
"tae, hug me. it's okay, don't think about what i said. i know you love hugs, you love hugging people." jeongguk says and taehyung wraps his arms around jeongguk's tiny waist, "don't listen what i said before. you're really the best friend i could ask for and so is min and.. it's nice knowing you won't leave me since.. you like me. please don't give up on me."
