I sat here in front of the peerage after Sera just told them the truth about me. To be honest, I didn't expect her to tell them about that particular thing that easy. I guess she trusts them. But still, there's so many things that they don't know.

Everyone : "what?!!!" They all yelled in unison. Well, it is a shocker.

Rias : "t-the great war ? Is that true ?" She asked me. Her eyes were filled with confusion and curiosity.

Me : "yes it is, but it's kind of an overstatement if you ask me" I said while rubbing the back of my neck.

Akeno : "but you're a human. How did you even know about the great war ?"

Me : "history is written by the victors. Tell me, what do you know about the great war ?" I asked them as they all just looked at me confused.

Koneko : "it was a massive war between the three
factions led by God, the four great Satans, and the Grigori"

Me : "what else ?"

Koneko : "well, the war ended hundreds of years ago after all sides were exhausted after the long conflict" well, I guess that's the lie they decided to make. It's fine I guess.

Me : "well, that's what they say in the history books right ?" I said as they all just looked at me confused.

Rias : "what do you mean ? Isn't that what actually happened ?"

Me : "well, more or less..."

Kiba : "more or less ? What do you mean by that ? How did you even end the great war ?"

Rias : "yeah, what was your role in that war ?" She said as Sera spoke up.

Serafall : "he's one of the most important leaders in that war" she said as they all looked even more confused. But I could see some curiosity too.

Asia : "a leader ? But he's a human. What was he leading exactly ?"

Me : "the humans.." I said as they all were shocked.

Rias : "humans ? Humans aren't even involved in the war ? What are you talking about ?"

Me : "like I told you, history is written by the victors. Your knowledge about your history is wrong. But don't get me wrong. they're not lies, they just aren't the complete truth"

Rias : "then, what is the complete truth ?" Man, am I going to deep with this ? But at least I know that I can trust them with this.

Me : "the three factions aren't the only ones fighting in the war" I said as Rias seemed to be thinking about something.

Rias : "are you saying that humans were fighting in the war too ?"

Me : "not just humans, others were also fighting. Other Gods and the Yokai clans were involved too. And they're just two of many more. They didn't call it the great war for nothing. The three factions were only the major powers"

Rias : "then, you've fought against the devils"

Me : "devils, angels, fallen angels... we had many enemies back then. But it was all in the past" I said as Sera had a sad look in her eyes.

Serafall : "the past is in the past. Our ancestors did many stupid things back then. But we're trying to fix it now to avoid for it to ever happen again. And that's why we need your help (Y/N)" So that's the reason why she wanted me to go back so badly.
