A/N: guys, i'm so mad at myself bcuz i got out of school on the 25th and i haven't updated. but i'm so glad to be out of school, i like school in general, the people tho, they make it suck for me. anyways done with my boring life onto this story. i love gaten he's so cute and adorable and i'm happy for him and his girlfriend, his girlfriend is very beautiful and they deserve the world.

It was finally summer time yay! But these's a dance tonight to celebrate at our school, i was asked by this cute guy and i obviously said yeah. his name is Elliot, i am really excited, my older sister is doing my hair as well as helping me find a gorgeous dress which she already did. as im doing my make up i get an incoming facetime call from my guy best friend, Noah.
"Hey!" i say excitedly, "are you going tonight?"
"Yeah but i'm just hanging out with Gaten, Caleb, and Finn," Noah replies, "are you going with anyone?"
"yeah Elliot asked me," i reply, adding finishing touches to my makeup.
"Ah, i wish you guys the best of luck. im leaving right now so i'll see you soon," noah says.
"okay, bye," i say, hanging up the call.
I never met Noah's friends but Noah talks about them a lot and they seem nice. my mom drops me off at the school, and wow its a beautiful night. Elliot told me to meet him near the bleachers.
i waited and waited, an hour has passed already. i knew this was going to happen, i noticed that one of Noah's friend was looking at me, he had curly hair and was honestly cute. i feel myself starting to tear up, i run out of the gym and into the hallway, i tried to hold back the tears, i really liked elliot too.
"hey, are you alright?" i heard someone say, i look up and see it was the curly headed kid.
i sniff, "well i got stood up but it happens to the best of us,"
"i'm Gaten by the way," Gaten says.
"Y/N." i say and put my hands over my face.
"hey, it's alright. he's just a jerk and doesn't know what he's missing." gaten says, "you're extremely beautiful,"
"thank you," i smile.
"how about we get out of here and see a movie?" gaten suggests.
"yeah, i would really like that," i say.
gaten and i walk to the movies because it's not really far for our school. Gaten pays for my ticket, we're seeing (you're favorite movie) and i'm excited because i love that movie.
"thank you for paying for me, i had my own money you know," i chuckle.
"yeah, but i feel bad because that guy was a jerk to you," gaten says.
"it's alright, i don't really care anymore. i'm just mad," i say.
we watched the movie and time flew by quick, it's now 12am.
"oh my god, it's so late! it's 12am! i have to get home," i say.
"aw is it too late for cinderella. hey instead of dropping your shoe and me giving it back to you, you should drop your number," gaten says.
"wow, you're one smooth criminal," i laugh.
gaten laughs too. we exchange numbers, gaten walks me home and we talk about random stuff that's on our minds. i forgot about what happened tonight, with elliot but i'm really glad that i met gaten.
"thank you, tonight was literally really fun. besides me getting stood up," i chuckle.
"yeah, i had a pretty fun night and no problem," gaten says.
i give him a hug and i kiss him on the cheek. i go inside blushing like an idiot, i explain everything what happened to my parents and they understand so i'm not grounded. as soon as i get ready for bed i get a text.
Gaten🤩: next time you should kiss me on my lips.
Y/N: so there's a next time?
Gaten🤩: i mean if u wanna call going to the movies a date then i'll gladly go on a second date with you.
Y/N: obviously i want to! 😂
