Hi, my names Fiona. Im 22 and live in an apartment on Houston Street in New York. My life growing up was fine, actually i had about 5 or 6 true friends that I grew up with, and I was never really a target for bullying at school, i got pretty good grades, and even a scholarship to Columbia University. The summer before i planned to start college was when it all went wrong. All my friends went to a different college and shortly after we stopped talking to each other, I was failing all my classes so i dropped out of school,and now i work at a Starbucks for minimum wage and lived in a small apartment. When i told my parents I was bisexual they told me that god wasn't pleased with my life choices and never spoke to me again. Since then I've been alone without family or an S.O. and my only friend leftover was Mary and her helpful boyfriend Alexander. That night I had a late shift so Mary talked to me while i cleaned up. "What about him?" Mary said. She was asking me again if i liked another one of the guys/girls that walked inside Starbucks. "No," I replied, "I don't like him, his jaw reminds me of superman and he's frowning at me!" "Fine, what about her?" Mary turned and nodded towards a girl sitting in the back. She looked lost in thought like she was trying to solve a crime, her fingers laced together as she tapped her hands on the table. " Ummm..No." i said in a monotone voice. "Fiona," Mary looked at me with worry in her eyes, " I just want you to have someone," "I have you,"I responded quickly. "You know what i mean, something more, someone who's there when i can't be," Mary knew i was about to cry so she changed the subject. "So," she said, "When do you get off work? I'm bored and Alex is out of town for his job." "Soon" I reply. After I got off work Mary and I headed back to my apartment to watch a movie and drown our sorrows in extremely buttered popcorn. Well i would do all the "drowning in sorrows" Mary was on a diet.
~time skip~ Ten hours later
Its Sunday!!!!!! Which means i have no work to do and Mary doesn't have a job so we'll go to the mall.
I wonder what will happen next to Fiona...is her love life about to start? (Idk I'm making this up as i go!)😉
