~Fiona's Apartment, Tuesday Morning~

I'm laying in my bed thinking of all the things that could happen later today, I'm..nervous. Every scenario is playing out in my head. I need to talk to Mary, she will calm me down. I called an Uber, and was driven to Mary's one bedroom apartment. I turned Mary's spare key in the lock and pushed the door opened. "Mary!" I whisper yelled not wanting to wake her if she was still asleep. I walked up the stairs and tiptoed over to the bedroom door and opened it slightly. Thats when I remembered that Alex had come home one night ago, but I figured maybe he was working and wasn't home then so i kept pushing the door. That was a mistake. Alex was on top of Mary kissing her working his way down to her neck, but she turned her neck to face the door and saw me. "Oops," I said laughing nervously. Mary gets really scary when she's mad and right now she must have been really mad because she shoved Alex off her and walk right up to me. "Why are you here," she said through gritted teeth. "I-I was just gonna talk to you abou.." I was cut off by Mary," You really think you can walk in here and talk to me whenever? I have a life outside of being your friend ya know. Just like yesterday when you called to talk to me about your little 'date' I was sleeping!" "I-I was just" Alex cut me off this time. "Just leave Fiona, she never stays mad for long." I nodded and walked out of the doorway and down the stairs, but I stopped so that i could at least go and apologize. As I was walking back up the stairs i stopped abruptly when I heard Alex talking to Mary," Baby don't get mad at her because she doesn't have anyone else in her life to talk to," When I heard that I just turned around and slammed the door. When I got outside I just broke down crying thinking about all the people in my life that are gone now. Then I smiled thinking I could just go talk to Mary about this, but wait thats why I'm crying in the first place. Then I thought Alex was right I really don't have anyone else to talk to which just made me cry harder. I really hated being so alone. Mary was there with me most of the time because she knew i didn't like to be alone, but she had things to do sometimes too.

This time I didn't call an Uber, I don't even live that far away. When I got home I took a shower and got ready for work waiting for the best part of my day to come walking through the Starbucks door at 3.

I looked in the Mirror, I was wearing a plain white shirt under a red jacket with light blue jeans and a dark blue beanie. " I'm ready," I say grabbing my keys as I head towards the door. "Have fun!" Levi said in a womanly tone. "Thanks mom!" I yelled back sarcastically.

When I got there Fiona was already sitting at a table waiting patiently for me. When I sat down she looked really lost in thought and her eyes looked a bit sad, but when I said her name she snapped right out of it and a sparkle replaced the sadness in her eyes. "Hey," I said "Hi" she replied smiling. "So," she said, " you want to get to know me and I want to get to know you." "Ya," I replied. " Okay, so whats your favorite color?" "Hahaha! Thats your question." I said smiling at her. "Well yeah I don't really know what to ask," she said rubbing her arm nervously. "Ok, how about.... Whats your number?" I said looking into her eyes wondering if I said the wrong thing, wondering if she would reject me, and wondering if she even wanted to be friends. She smiled lightly and pulled out her phone,"My number is (212)-447-8**0. Whats yours?" "Mine's (212)-917-5**5." I say as I see her type the numbers into her phone. I knew right then that I would probably text her all night.
