Fiona's P.O.V
I woke up feeling refreshed, but slightly uneasy on Thursday ready to go to work. I kept thinking that there was something I didn't do or something I forgot about, but I couldn't put my finger on it. Then my phone rang. It was Mary. "Hello," I said sleep clouding my voice. "Ummm, Fiona you might want to check the news right now." Mary sounded worried. "Why?" I asked "I need to get ready for work," "It's..................... about your job. It looks bad." I quickly grabbed the tv remote and turned on channel 30 (the news.) "Oh my god!" I dropped my phone and covered my mouth. The door to Starbucks was wide open and some chairs were missing. My boss was being interviewed. "Fiona if you're watching this your FIRED!" The word echoed through my head. Fired? I had never been fired before. It seemed unreal. I realized how stupid it was, I was being fired because my bff came to apologize to me. This was not fair. "Fiona, you still there?" My phone buzzed on the ground and I slowly picked it up. "Ya I'm here." "You can come here and sulk on the couch plus Alex just got here and he says he needs to apologize to you." I thought about it for a moment... I had nothing to do and no job as of right now. Might as well. "Yeah, I'll be there in a little bit."

Fiona's P.O.V
I was sitting on the couch rapped in a blanket crying softy while eating pancakes Mary made for me. She was still in the kitchen when Alex walked in. "Hey Fiona, I should probably apologize to you too. What I said wasn't right and I really don't want my girlfriend's best friend mad at me." He sat down on the couch really close to me and put his hand on the top of the couch.(I don't actually know what that part is called and I'm to lazy to look it up sooo.) "So do you accept my apology?" I was starting to feel uncomfortable. "Ya,ya sure" I said as I scooted away from him. Right after that I caught Alex quickly pull his hand from the top of the couch when Mary walked in with some orange juice. "Hey,guys has Alex apologized yet?" Mary sat in Alex's lap and glared at him. "Yes, he has. Im going to leave now I need some rest all this stuff happening is getting to me." I took off the blanket and put my plate in the sink. "Umm ok. I guess I'll see you later then. Make sure you call me!" Mary yelled as I walked down the stairs. "Byee!" I said as I walked out the door.
That waz really strange.. I wonder what Alex is trying to do???? Will Fiona get a new job?
What's going on with August????? These are all really good questions that I promise will be answered.......Eventually!!!🖐🏾
