Prompts: Broken down car in the middle of the night. Getting to a station.

That Japanese vehicle failed me again. So I left its hazard's flashing a warning of incompetence to those who passed it.
I was sweating profusely in the near darkness. My feet were swelling too. Something like four miles and I finally spied a gas station—a "Mom and Pop" family business. The lights flickered ominously.
'Spooky,' I joked.
I exhaled. The lights vanished completely.
'Crap.'
A shrill scream rang out. My bladder failed—I had soaked my jeans. With a new breath, the lights came on. A bloody pool lay before me.
I exhaled again. Utter darkness. Another scream. Mine.
